Kindle Customer: I resisted stainless steel polishing compared to vibratory polishing but now I'm sold. No dust and the media doesnt wear out like corn cob or walnut. Still use corn cob to remove the lube but I'm now sold on stainless also

Alina: I bought this media for help with cleaning my rifle and pistol brass. In short it has two large faults. First of all I mixed half a bag of the media into my old media to build up the quantity. I find this media "barely" magnetic so I am not able to separate it from the brass at all. Now I have to dry the brass separately, tumble it again and sift to get the bits out. It is too short to clean the brass and needs to be about double the length. At this point I just have to throw the rest away and worse I have to separate my old media from the new media but my magnetic pickup should help with that. Anyone buying this should know it is not the same media that you would get with any of the pistol/rifle brass tumblers. It needs to be almost twice as long (my fault as I thought I had ordered longer media). Without the magnetic properties it is hard to use. I suspect it is not a real/proper magnetic stainless but some junk steel wire instead. I have only used it once so I do not know if it will rust or not.
