bruce stewart: Some what a sad tale. I bought tjs SS unit to replace a crappy plastic one that actually cost a dollar more. It is well ade and the gauge for water level is nice. This unit has a wider open flow for water entry and more water in the bowl. Bottom line. I loved it, the cay won;t use it so we had to switch back to the crappy plastic spount unit. Richard White : This works for what we need, being a small source of moving water for a kitten that we need to keep separate from the rest of the house. But, having a lot of experience with filtration systems for koi ponds and aquariums, it’s important to note that the filter pad provided, containing four compartments, half activated charcoal and half some kindof exchange resin, will quickly become useless and perhaps even harmful.
Water will follow the path of least resistance and there is nothing stopping the water, which is only being pulled across the filter pad by gravity, from flowing around the pad rather than through the very dense fabric containing the chemical filtration stages. Especially after just a little bit of biofilm or detritus build up on the filter pad, at that point all it will do is provide very little surface area for water-purifying bacteria to colonize, and that is already provided by the open cell sponge pads in the filter, those are less likely to clog and channel water. There are activated charcoal imbued open cell sponges for fish tanks that can be bought and cut to size that would do the job MUCH BETTER.

Emy's mom: My kitty loves drinking water from the bathroom faucet! Every time she heard us turn on the water, she would come running! I didn't like to leave the water running while she drank, so I set this up on our bathroom counter, and she loves it! It's easy to clean, quiet and looks nice. I will say though that I almost gave a bad review because the pump stopped working after 2 1/2 months of use. When finding the exact pump on Amazon, there was a video that showed that it could be taken apart and cleaned.... after doing that, it worked perfectly again! It was my fault it stopped working, it was filled with gunk.... poor kitty! I would highly recommend!

Big Ox: I bought this to replace another fountain I had purchased here on Amazon.. look for my review of it. This fountain is so much better in every way I can think of. It cleans up easier. It makes very little noise but even then it can be a somewhat pleasing noise, and lets you know it has enough water. The noise does change enough when it gets low that you can tell it needs more water. It was easy to assemble. I have 2 kittens and they pretty much drain it every day. I won't address all the other health benefits, etc., of a fountain for the cats. They got used to it pretty quickly and they prefer to drink right from the outlet rather than from the bowl. When I first got it, one of my little guys would sit and watch it for hours.!!

Greice: Melhor investimento que fiz! Os gatos normalmente bebem pouca água mas a fonte incentiva eles a se manterem mais hidratados. Todo de inox, o que faz toda a diferença pois não contamina a água e sinto que mantém a água numa temperatura mais agradável. Alem disso ela é extremamente silenciosa e não tem led. A limpeza dela é fácil também, e percebo que fica pouco pelo no filtro, o que antigamente já foi problema. Meus gatos amaram e eu também!

Comprei e a entrega atrasou porque a Receita Federal taxou, mas o vendedor reembolsou a taxa por ter sido a primeira compra. Agora a lei de taxação mudou e creio que não tria sido taxada comprando em agosto.
Enfim, sobre o produto: é SUPER silencioso. Eu até esqueço que está ligado e o consumo de energia é semelhante ao de carregar celular, fone de ouvido e tal. Para ligar, se uma um cabo USB que vem com o carregador, mas a entrada dele requer adaptador porque é um modelo estrangeiro. Só que é um adaptador desses baratinho, que acha por 2 pila em qualquer loja de esquina. O pote e o prato são inox, super fáceis de limpar, mas tem um suporte interno pros filtros, o bico e a boia de plástico. Dentro, vem os filtros: umas esponjas sintéticas pra parar os pelo e o filtro em si. O primeiro uso requer limpeza específica, mas só demora 10 minutos.
Meu gato ficou feliz com a fonte, apesar de ainda não ter aprendido a beber muito. Esqueceu totalmente das torneiras de banheiro. Mantém a água circulando geladinha até nos dias que deu 40ºC se deixo em ambiente interno e na sombra.

Bruno Leão: Em geral é um produto muito bom. Fácil de instalar e de fazer a manutenção. A marcação do nível indica a necessidade de completar a quantidade de água, o corpo em inox deixa o líquido fresco e facilita a limpeza e os filtros retém e purificam a água. As únicas ressalvas são quanto à dermora da entrega (demorou muito!), por isso aconselho comprar os filtros de reposição com antecedência de dois meses; também vale salientar que a água fica indisponível aos bichos, caso falte energia. Por isso, ao sair de casa, principalmente por longos períodos do dia, ou mais de um dia, é importante deixar um recipiente extra com água por precaução.

Jacqueline Sanchez: The media could not be loaded.  I’ve had this fountain for about 5 months now for my 1 cat who drinks a substantial amount of water (she’s been to a vet, and she’s fine; she just likes water!).

The pros:
- I only refill it once every 7-10 days
- it makes a light trickle sound, so it’s not distracting
- my cat’s fur isn’t floating in the water anymore
- it’s not easy to tip over, so no worries about water going everywhere!
- the replacement filters are relatively inexpensive. It says to replace it every month, but I usually replace it every 2 months (I rinse the pieces every time I refill it), and I buy a pack of 4 from a random vendor on Amazon
- my cat actually drinks out of it!

The cons:
- there’s no way to tell whether the water is running low aside from the weird sucking noise the pump makes when the water level is low
