G. K: I LOVE THIS WATER FOUNTAIN AND MY CAT LOVES THE FRESH COLD WATER AMD HAS BEEN DRINKING MORE WATER AMD AND REALLY LIKES WHERE I PLACED IT FOR HIM. MY CAT JUST TURNED 8 YRS. OLD. HES A RESCUE, AND INDOOR CAT. I PURCHASED THIS SPECIFIC WATER FOUNTAIN BECAUSE ITS NOT PLASTIC ON THE BOTTOM. WATER IS ALWAYS FRESH, COLD, AND VERY CLEAR AND CLEAN. I PLACED IT IN A PRIVATE CORNER OF MY KITCHEN, AND MY CAT FEELS REALLY CALM AND COMFORTABLE WHENEVER HE GOES INTO THE LITTLE AREA FOR A DRINK. HOS BODY LANGUAGE SHOWS ME THAT HE IS COMFORTABLE AMD RELAXED AND HE JUST TAKES HIS TIME AND REALLY DRINKS FOR AWHILE. STOPS TO RELAX AMD ALWAYS GOES IN AGAIN FIR HIS SECOND DRINK! I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE PURCHASED THIS FOUNATION FOR HIM! JUST A FYI: MY ELECTRIC GOES OUT FROM TIME TO TIME, AMD IF I GO OVERNIGHT TO STAY WITH GRANDSONS I ALWAYS PUT DOWN A STAINLESS STEEL BOWL OF WATER IN CASE FOUNTAIN STOPS

Brandy C.: I really like this fountain a lot. My cats love it as well. My biggest concern was that it would be difficult to maintain and clean, but it is not! It is very easy to assemble/disassemble for cleaning. Most of it is metal, and easy to scrub/rinse. The filter tray is plastic, but it's easy to clean too. No tiny crevices that hold slimy water! The cats had a tiny learning curve on using it, but it didn't take but a day or so, to get the hang of it. (They've never taken a drink from a faucet - weird, I know! We've tried, they just look at it). Anyways, a couple things you may find annoying: The flower piece is really easy to take off by naughty kitties - we just keep ours off.... No big deal. (They basically drink from the tray anyways, not the actual fountain.) The other thing is that they sometimes get their claws stuck in the holes in the metal tray and it flies off, making a loud noise. (My little weirdos both like to "wash" their paws in the water, that's why it happens). I do worry that they may hurt themselves, but usually someone is always here to help them out. (They can still drink from it without the tray on. (Maybe a couple stones would keep it in place?) I still...

Michele: I’ve owned a Cat Fountain just like this—except it was plastic—for over two years. It was time to order new filters and I thought, “Hey…great time for an upgrade to stainless steel!”.

The product is super easy to set up…and so quiet that I didn’t know if it was working properly until I saw the bubbles (but I AM extremely hard of hearing, lol). So I asked my 15-year-old son and he said that it was quiet…you can trust his ears more than mine! As for the cleaning, said son above cleaned the fountain several times without my help. It comes with a couple of little brushes to get inside places like the water intake valve and even the motor. I like that the motor has it’s own filter; it really cuts down on the “icky” factor when you go too long between cleanings. (Hey, it happens from time to time…but Revvy-our cat-let’s us know by dunking her paw into OUR water glass when she’s sure we are looking. Then does that fast flicking of her wet paw at us…just in case she was too subtle the first time.. It’s her way of saying “Clean my fountain lazy human!)
