SR SUN RISE 12" Ceiling-Mounted Brushed Gold Shower System

Jeff F.Jeff F.: I purchased this shower system for my new construction home. We got it installed and it looks beautiful. We do have one issue with the thermostatic cartridge that is preventing it from getting hot. I talked to the company and they were very helpful and are sending a replacement part out immediately. I will follow up once the replacement part gets to me but I would recommend this produce based on quality and the company's willingness to resolve my problem.

Armando Ramirez: Bought one 1year ago and got installed in my new basement shower. liked it enough that 1 year later when we remodeled our upstairs shower I wanted the same. Other systems can run you 2 or 3 times as much money and you wont get much more for your money. Even the box and the packaging is much nicer than you expect at this price point. Definetly give it a try.

AD: I bought this based on the high rating and the large number of ratings.

I am more than satisfied after using it, which gave me the same experience in those hotels with similar shower systems.

Tow things I like the most:
(1) The rainfall shower and handheld shower head have independent on/off control, they can be one at the same time, not like other systems that can only have one on.

(2) The temperature control, you can leave the temperature settings when turning off the water.

I enjoyed this product so I bought a second one for the other bathroom.

Amazon Customer: • Admittedly, I had reservations about purchasing this shower system based on previous experience with low quality foreign made plumbing fittings.
• Be assured this complete all metal shower system IS quality from the rough-in 4-port valve to the hand held wand. By complete, you will find spare parts (O-rings, set screws, etc.), pictured installation manual, pipe plugs, hex wrenches, screw anchors, teflon tape, and a pair of white gloves!
• Installation was straight forward until I dropped the rough-in valve base mounting bracket between the walls and out of sight! The only solution that came to mind was to request the SR Sun Rise seller to send a replacement. SR Sun Rise responded within 24 hrs. requesting specific part information and assurances they would send the proper replacement part. Cannot ask for better service! Fortunately I located an under shower drain access and retrieved the lost part. Lesson learned: SR Sun Rise IS customer service.
• To summarize, this is a quality product backed with prompt customer support all at a reasonable price.

Digitizer: We purchased this Square Rainfall Shower head with a hand held spray head, based on the positive reviews and the exceptional pricing. When we received it...... WOW, even better than we could have expected. This thing is built like a tank, and beautiful. This is the best looking shower combo we have ever seen, it puts all the kits we have looked at in all the major home improvement centers we have visited to shame! The price also put them to shame, $168 vs. $300 - $600, for the same type offering, give me a break!

Two things we took notice of in the reviews;
1.) The complaint of hammering pipes! So to head off that possible problem, we installed a 2-Pack of 1/2-Inch Straight Male Sweat Copper Water Hammer Arrestor. We installed these even though in the description it stats "The pressure balance valve has built-in two check valves to effectively eliminate water hammer noise." Better safe than sorry, and it's a $20 insurance policy!
2.) The reversed water temperature handle! The cold, when turning to the left, and hot, when turning to the right. We have always seen the reverse, in every situation, whether it be a Hotel or the simple one handle shower valve. Always turn...

Amazon Customer: I purchased this to use in my outdoor shower at my cottage, I connected it to a Fogotti propane hotwater on demand system (works great) where the problem lies is hot water on demand systems have a constant hot water temperature so no cold water mixing is required, but if you don’t have water pressure on both the hot and cold input lines the valve won’t open and zero water comes out. The work around is to T the hot water output and run the hot out to both the cold and hot then the unit works, it would have been nice if the installation manual actually made reference to this. Otherwise the unit works fine.
