frank b: it was a pain in the butt to set this up. i went with pay per photo so many/? photos per $5. it's only supposed take photos of turkey and larger animals. it was taking photos of squirrels all day and possums and coons at night burning up my number of photos i paid for. somehow my camera was deleted from there system? i was able to call them and they told me i need my camera to put it back in their system. my camera was 5 hrs away! i had to have someone locate my camera and ship it to me. after relinking the camera i had to ship it back to him and wait for him to have time to remount the camera. total shipping cost was around $36 out of my pocket. after he remounted the camera he moved around in front of it to make sure it was operating and aim camera where i wanted it. that night it took a picture of a fox and coon. prior to it getting deleted from their system it was taking photos every night and day. the day after it was mounted, nothing for 3 days. i called them at least 3 times with message saying wait time is over a hour. i tried chatting with them with no response. then i chatted at them with foul language with no response. a couple of minutes after that my...

chris: Works fairly well for the price. I have 3 set up on my remote ranch watching my shop and conexes for almost a year. Pictures pretty good. Need to play with sensitivity and location to get best results. I added a solar panel to one and works well. Will switch out to panels for other two when batts run out. I’m doing the 1000 pics/ month. Not too expensive for security . Might get a couple more.

TIna Copeland: So far camera is good. Pics are in color and decent shots. So far having problems getting pic to my phone after we took it to lease property. When it was home, pics went to my phone. Another store has the exact camera minus batteries for less.

E-ManE-Man: Update: It’s been 3 months with energizer lithium batteries in it and i haven’t replaced them yet. Going to this week on principle but i doubt it needs it! Still very impressed.

Original review: I am so impressed with this camera. Set up was simple with the app. Works like a game camera should. The app gives you lots of info about the camera besides the pictures themselves so you always know if it has reception enough to transmit, battery life, temperature, etc. At first i thought the resolution was poor, but that’s just the condensed photos that were transmitted to the app (they’re not actually “texted” to you, they sit inside the spylink app). The pictures are also stored on the SD card like a traditional cam and they are much higher res. This entry model does not do video, but i have it set up to transmit 6 times a day and i find myself checking incessantly. There are 3 options for data plans, they’re all reasonable, but there’s a basic free plan that will continue to transmit without a subscription. Very happy with this purchase! Looking to get the next model up too.

Amazon Customer: Great camera for the price I think the best cell cam on the market. but I just received my 3rd 1 and it came from a company named FREEDOM USA SALES and it was a return that didnt work and had someone's personal account information written on the manual. I was very disappointed it wasn't even in the package sd card and batteries were taped together. My first 2 cameras are awesome but I would not recommend buying 1 from this seller
