KJMKJM: I tried 3 other camera/trail cams, this Soliom outdoor camera is fantastic, it is so easy to set up and connect to Wi-Fi. The motion detection and picture quality are just as good as my ring cameras, the camera swivels up/down and side to side and the solar panel keeps the camera charged even on cloudy days. Highly recommend this product to anyone that needs additional outdoor security.

PN: I have been testing some cameras out for my home. I need a decent battery camera as I do not have power at all locations. Overall, I have been left disappointed by many of the battery cameras available even from well known companies. Some of these companies do not seem interested in addressing customer based issues. I have found that many of these companies have poorly built websites and manuals, lack of customer service and no user friendly setups. Even with a technical background, I have been left frustrated setting up some of these cameras that I have tested. I can only imagine a novice user would be enraged.

Solium seems to be one of the best budget battery cameras I have found so far. I have had this camera installed for about two weeks. I am still testing this camera, so I do not have the solar panel connected right now and therefore cannot comment on them although they seem to be decent quality. The battery does seem to keep a decent charge so far.

I am giving this camera a 5 star rating even though I think the app needs more improvements. I plan to submit some feature requests in the hopes the company will consider the changes. The app does have bad reviews....

FCSAllan: Very simple setup. The only issue I had was the screws that come with it are very poor quality. I bent two of them and I was not even pushing hard. Threw them out and used some stainless screws and all is good.

For the last week I have been trying to tweak the settings so that it does not alert with movement on the other side of my 1.25 acre property. It is very sensitive to movement and could use some filtering.

Solar is more than enough to keep the camera running 24x7. I left the light on purposely for the first few days and it was never at risk of the battery dying.

Wifi setup was easy. Phone app is OK. It could use a web interface too so that you can get a better look at the camera.

Video quality is very good in HD and good in SD.

Flying bugs like the camera even with the light off so there is a lot of movement at night, but it is smart enough not to alert for flying bugs.

Audio quality is good and bidirectional conversation is easy and clear.

Good overall camera. I've only had it up for almost 2 weeks so will update in a couple of months with status. So far so good.

Shawn Fritz: I live on a farm in Alberta and wanted to monitor our long driveway. We don’t have line of sight or power so tried this. It did take some time to figure out the SIM Card. Bell had no idea and it took many phone calls to get nowhere. Finally I used a Bell SIM Card from a tablet that I had but never used. I was paying monthly on this SIM anyways on a data usage basis. On my online account at Bell, I assigned that SIM Card to a new device and entered the cameras serial number. It actually worked! You’ll have to have the SIM card activated by Bell I think. Because mine was already activated, I didn’t have to. It is frustrating tho bc Bell nor TELUS had a clue what I wanted- good luck!

Jesulin: Si funciona en México y cumple con todas las expectativas. Incluso funciona en zonas con pobre señal 4G. Si la recomiendo.

Ed Manley: This is a user review of the SOLIOM S600 Solar Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor WIFI 2.4GHz [24/7 Record] with 20W Solar Panel, 20000mAh Batt.

I am not connected with Soliom nor compensated for my reviews. I use products in my real-world experience and tell you, good or bad, what I think of them. I don't do unboxings or lists of functions and features or fancy videos, you can get that elsewhere. I tell you why I bought something and if it satisfies my need or not.

My use case: I watch wildlife in my yard on video. I am disabled, in a wheelchair, and live in snow country... the mountains of north-central PA. I can't easily get out to my backyard on a good day and in the snowy/muddy months I cannot get out there at all. I need a remotely-operated video system that allows me to watch wildlife attracted to my backyard deer feeder. A system that is set-and-forget, meaning no trips to do maintenance. In bad weather once I set up a camera in the Fall I often cannot get back to it until Spring due to mud. If any part of the system fails it will have to wait until the ground dries in late March before I can get my wheelchair back to that location, so I need dependability...

Calistus Nwachukwu: Good and quality camera surveillance exterieur solaire lte, you need to find the right sim card to use it in Canada, it can't be used in Nigeria for this version, it has 360 view, motion detection notification features

mandey moote: I spent hours on the phone with all the carriers recommended by customer service and could not get the required data plan to support this device. It really shouldn't be sold in Canada. It looks amazing, but doesn't actually work.

UPDATE: I'm getting regular emails from this company asking me to change my review. It's very frustrating so I thought I would add more detail. I paid for a SIM card with bell that didn't work. Bell wouldn't refund my money. Two other carriers said their services wouldn't work. Initially freedom told me it would work and after I signed up, they said it wouldn't work. Months later I'm still trying to get that account closed. I went to great lengths to try to get this thing working. I got a refund on the camera when it didn't, but I lost money with the carrier's and I'm still dealing with the headache. As most people know, dealing with carriers is not easy...add to the mix a device that they are unfamiliar with and you're in for it. My advice for those interested in this camera is to call a carrier first, ask for a 4g sim card and tell them what you need it for. Good luck.

Grant Perry: We tested the camera in Australia
We happy with the product.
Actually performed better than expectation.
I can recommend it.

The product had good specifications and appeared to be good quality.
However not suitable for Australia. CORRECTION.
First camera was sold incorrectly to my region.
Soliom Tech support good involved and the correct camera was supplied.
Second camera connected via 4G and is working correctly, just about to start bench test.
