Amazon Customer:
I am not a real tech savvy gal; I get by, but I’m the type of person who NEEDS to read the manual/directions to get the “thing” working/connected.
This camera worked immediately. I got impatient; I called their customer service… they were super helpful!
Turns out, I WAS impatient, and when they walked me through the process, I saw the camera had been working the whole time!
If I can figure it out, it’s easy!
Pictures were very clear. I recorded some video; great sound!
Im excited to see what the camera captures

Bill:
I ordered two of these cameras on September 1st. They've been in the woods and plugged into the solar system they came with for about three weeks. 1 video of deer and that was it. Feed that I put out is gone and still no more pictures. Decided to do some test runs (setting up cameras and walking by them slowly) to see if it was a malfunction with the batteries, solar panels or if the cameras were just not working. Not only did they not work (no recordings at all) but in trying to review the SD cards while in the camera, they both gave me a fuzzy screen with lines through it. Easy to use but unfortunately they are POOR quality and not worth buying. I'll update if I get any resolve from this.
UPDATE!! Please read.
After talking with customer service, the cameras are working great! It seems, at least with mine, I needed to format the SD card to the camera each time I used it. I assume it may have to do with the SD card being scrolled through while in a laptop computer? Not sure... It's simple to do and only takes a few seconds each time I place the card back into the camera. The camera is a little slow to start filming but I have no real complaints...

Nobody's Business:
I've been using this camera for about five months now, and am really happy with its ease of use and reliability. Admittedly it took a little practice to understand how it works (switching on/off can sometimes be a little slow) but now it's almost second nature.
Once a week I go out to the camera, open it up and switch it off. I wait until I hear the "shutting down" dance music before I take out the SD card to transfer the videos to my computer. Once I've moved the files over, I take the card back out, plug it in, and gently turn the camera back on. As soon as I hear the "starting up" chimes, I close and latch the cover. That's it -- easy peasy.
Video quality is pretty low, but I didn't expect a lot from the cheap end of the trail camera spectrum. The solar panel has been perfectly adequate for charging, so I've never had to put a single battery in the camera.
We get deer, foxes, rabbits and other creatures in our area, so it's a joy to see what they get up to when there are no humans around. Someday we may get a second, higher-quality camera to try and get some higher-resolution images and videos. But for now, this one is a lot of...

Mike T.Mike T.: Initially I had issues with the solar panels. The company replaced them but it would still fail. Finally I ran the unit on batteries and it worked fine for several months. Then it started to shut down. I tried several sets of new batteries and SD Cards. No change. I contacted the company and did the troubleshooting they suggested but still it would not work. They finally replied "Received feedback from technical people and they advised camera is damaged/Faulty if all batteries are 100% OK. Just Make sure all Batteries are 100 % by eliminating one by one. Nothing we can do as its out of warranty apart from what was suggested below." So it lasted less than two years.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Started using this camera in early August, 2020. Originally had problems with the solar charger, but customer service was GREAT and they sent me a replacement promptly. So far so good. Power has stayed at 100%. I use the camera mainly at night to see what critters are coming by that I don't want and the ones I do. Good night visibility. doesn't scare any of the more shy animals. Lots of options for exposure times/delay/start. Standard screw mount but I mostly use the strap since I am moving it each day. Finding a way to secure the power connection between the camera and solar battery so animals don't tangle on it has been a worry, but manageable. All in all, I am VERY happy with this camera, but the customer service is what does it for me. I will refuse to buy even the best made product if a company has a bad reputation and won't help out with problems.

dtoth: I've had this for a few years now, and the solar panel stopped working in less than a year, the picture quality is mid-grade, and it's a little clunky to use. All that said, I do enjoy tracking what wanders through, and would buy it again. I wanted a simple camera that did not involve a data plan to use, and that's what I got. I do wish the solar panel worked longer, though.
