Amber W.: I bought one a month ago for work since our work stations are small (medical office so it gets used a lot). My coworker had to use my desk while I was gone and fell in love with this little thing. Yes it can tangle as other photos show BUT if you pay attention to how you pick up and hang up the handset, you can keep it from tangling that way. I’ve gone a month now without any issues in sound/connection or it having issues reeling in.
My third one just arrived today for our new hire, love love love it!!

Catherine CruzCatherine Cruz: It’s a great idea and It worked okay for about 2 months but then just completely stopped working. The cord twists up so bad that the wires inside must come apart. It’s a work phone and I couldn’t hear anyone but they could hear me. When you hang up it’s loud and clonky. Had to go back to the old cord. Needs to be designed better. It’s not very practical :/

Michelle: This was a replacement for an older model that finally gave out. I keep one old-style corded phone hooked up 'cause their reliability still beats wireless options in case of emergency, and having one of these retractable cord thingies is a must if you don't want to deal with a constantly-tangled "curly" cord. The connections between the cords themselves and the phone jack connectors seem a little flimsy, but I had the same impression on the first one we bought and it lasted almost 15 years, so no complaints there.
