Coast to Coast: This is the brand for consistency. Do yourself a favor and spray a large dark baking sheet lightly with canola oil spray, lay bacon flat on pan and BAKE for 16 minutes at 400°
You will have easy quality crispy bacon reminiscent of your favorite breakfast or brunch spot. Any thicker, you'd need to worry about your dental work. Any thinner, and you'd need twice the amount to satisfy. Pricey at about $.80 per slice. The package is 12 oz (not a pound of 16 oz). You get what you pay for, though, and this method is tried and true for a delicious result. You can use strips for burgers, bacon crumbles for salads, omelettes, potato skins, etc with a good result.
