This paper towel holder is very pretty, let's start there! You have to put it together... I suggest watching the video Amazon includes when purchasing. I like it. It's modern & the color of 'nickel' is what I was looking for. As far as it being a 'one- handed' tear off?? Maybe with a full roll, but I still need 2 hands to hold & tear. No biggie...maybe after a few months of using this, I will learn! The 'spring' arm does move, just not quite to the paper towel as the roll is being used up. Maybe someone else has a suggestion for me. I do like that you can just slip the roll over the top, without having to unscrew the top knob. And it has good small suction cups on the bottom, so it really doesn't move unless you really need to move it! Recommend!

This paper towel holder is attractive, and the suction is great, but the arm that holds the paper towel down so you can tear it with one hand stops working when the roll becomes more than half gone.

If you use anything larger than standard size paper towel rolls, this isn't for you. Anything called even LARGE, let alone DOUBLE or JUMBO, just won't turn. Nicely made, but the product description claims it will handle most rolls. Not true.

Bought for the colour, it doesn’t work as well as the right up. Once the paper towel gets to s certain point and the ball doesn’t touch it the paper doesn’t tear well.
