Kirst: I love this paper towel holder! Renter-friendly and super convenient; I’ve one of these in every apartment I’ve lived in for the last 6 years. My only complaint is that when I moved and bought this latest version a few months ago, they changed one detail of the design. The end caps of the center piece that holds the paper towel are now plastic and detachable. Sometimes when you rip off a towel, the pole gets jostled and the end cap pops off, causing it to fall. It’s really inconvenient which is such a bummer because I love everything else about this design.

VVTVVT: I love the look of this product in my kitchen, it worked well with dark appliances, and provided us extra counter space that a counter-top paper towel holder usually takes up. HOWEVER, read the fine print, you aren’t supposed to use the adhesive strip basically on any wall if it’s tiled. That being said, it ripped the hell out of my wall. But if it couldn’t stick on this wall, I don’t believe it would stick on a smooth surface either… I’d honestly recommend just screwing it into the wall instead, less damage and easier to fill a screw hole than a large chunk of paint and wall…

M. Kobbs: Edit - I added a star. Was 3 and changed it to 4 stars. Great customer service. They did right by me.
I had something similar but the rod and rod caps on this are terribly cheap. The caps fall off and I had to glue them on. They do not hold onto the base well either. Overall I hate it. It looks good at first glance but there are better ones out there so I’d take a pass on this one.

DOC: I only set this up a day ago, so here's my take for what it's worth.
PROS:
Very easy to install - took probably 2 minutes start to finish.
Installation does not requires any tools
No holes have to be made in walls
Can mount underneath a cabinet or on a wall
Easy to load paper towel rolls
An extra adhesive is included in case it ever needs to be reinstalled/relocated
CONCERNS:
1. How well adhesive will hold up over time, and
2. Will adhesive cause injury to wall if removed
These concerns are not major. There's always the option of not using the adhesive and just screwing the holder to the wall or cabinet. Also, walls are fairly easy and simple to repair for anyone with even a little handyman experience.
For the price of this thing, I really don't think you can go wrong.

C.: Love the modern sleekiness however quality wise it's too light and loose. The paper towel holder is always coming off and it's a hassel and cannot be used with one hand to rip the paper towel off. Not as functional as described.
