Edit: Raising my review to 5 stars from 3. Seller contacted me and offered to send me a replacement without requiring me to go through the hassle of packaging and sending the old unit back. The replacement unit works as expected so I'm perfectly content with my purchase.
Overall this unit could be much better if there was more QC on the fan. The one I received has a fan that makes a rattling sound when it runs at higher speeds.

I am so impressed with this tiny purifier. Sleep mode is quiet and it does purify air in my bedroom.
Like that I can also use Essential oils to diffuse. Easy to put together. Don't turn on until you take out the plastic on the filter that is located inside the filter. Replacement filters are affordable and durable.

Some room for improvement.
On the plus side, it is a reasonable price compared to similar units.
The black finish looks better than the usual white ones.
Easy set-up and operation.
The ability to shut off all the operating lights at night is good.
Negatives, rather LOUD, except on the lowest setting. And when ON Low, it's hard to know if it actually does much. On higher settings, it's too noisy to sleep in the same room, unless you are lucky and CAN sleep with a noisy fan going. I can't.
No timer was the other big drawback. I REALLY appreciate a timer on units like these.
Overall, just ok but with limitations as described above.

This machine really is quiet! Like, really, I had to double check if it was working because I cannot hear anything at all (and I’m kind of hypersensitive that’s why the first thing I check is the noise and light features).
It both has the option of turning the lights on/off, and speed has three options (1 of which is the quiet version).
This is definitely, for now, my favorite. It even has an aromatherapy included (although I can barely smell it right now).
