Semi con - it bleeds through, I don't believe I was pushing too hard, have used these types of pens before and yes others bled as well, but not all.
I used a stencil and colored it in, then used my heat gun on low first then high and you can see the heavier marks under the stencil from bleeding.

Ciera: I honestly didn't expect much when I purchased the pen but was happily surprised with how well it worked! Im new to wood burning and was nervous about burning myself with my wood burner but still wanted to give a custom cutting board at Christmas time. This was the perfect solution! It allowed me to literally draw out my design with ease and made small details a piece of cake. Definitely happy with it.

TKinNC: The media could not be loaded.  Ok I read the reviews against this product and I am surprised, it does exactly what it should do, it burns into the wood, it doesn’t have the look of burnt wood because the edges aren’t singed BUT it does work. I rub the pen on my stamp and push it into the wood, then use a heat gun to burn it, it works every time if the wood is sanded flat. I recommend this product for its intended use, crafter in NC

didip00didip00: The pens work awesome. You just have to be aware of which way the grain of the wood goes because the liquid can bleed.
