1. I bought this lock for the autolock option, which I have set to occur 45 seconds after the door is opened. This feature works great. Tricky at times when you are bringing in groceries, but as long as the door is wide open no safety concerns per se.
2. After installing it we got into the habit of going keyless, which is pretty awesome.
3. The app works great and its nice to be able to check if the house is locked from work.

Cons:
1. I think adding a lock/unlock figures or words to the inside panel really matters especially the first few weeks when you are passing by the door and trying to figure out if its locked or not!
2. Durability. A year in the keypad is no longer functional, though the autolock still works (most important). Right now I am in communication with customer service to resolve the issue seeing that many reviews suggest customer service is great. Will you posted!

Daniela Udrea: The lock was easy to install, although I had to drill a bigger hole in the door.
For that reason I had it installed 9 month after purchase.
Once installed the smart lock did not work.
However customer service was great (Tara) helped me to troubleshoot and super quick send a replacement smart lock with extended warranty.
I had the new smart lock installed 5 days ago and so far works very well. I will need more testing to give a final rating for the product however customer service was outstanding- Thank you Tara for your support

Joquin Ives Brant: The installation seems a bit intimidating but it's actually not difficult. I'll jump to the best outcome: the used door (Florida, impact glass is outrageously expensive so I bought a used door and saved $1100) now looks modern and spiffy, not tired., because the lock is sharp. Oh, and it works. You can open the door with your phone. Even better, you can input a special code for a tradesman or cleaner - and then you can see when they came in! Give your teenager a unique code - and you know what time THEY got in at night. I don't know how long the batteries last, but here's a couple of hints. First, make sure you use new batteries for the first installation. Otherwise, pairing to your phone app (it seems to use both Next Lock or TTL, two apps you'll find at the apple store) won't work. Next, don't be daunted by their toll-free voicemail "we are open 9 pm to 6 am" . Say what? Relax, it's okay. They are in China. They will email and call you, probably sooner than that schedule. Very nice, pretty good English, eager to handle any issue. The lock uses a key as well. So you have phone (bluetooth), key, and the keypad. Notsane: Unlike some other locks, this one allows you to lock it via Alexa. Others only let you unlock which is crazy frustrating. Connection to Alexa was very easy and the required hub was included. The app, fobs and keypad all work perfectly. I highly recommend!!

Timmy: The hole in the door is larger than my existing deadbolt. It is fairly easy install after I enlarged the mounting hole, setup was simple. However, the App lacks real time status of the lock position, one has to press the status button to retrieve it. The record is also incomplete as it misses the automatic locking events

Derek YeDerek Ye: Satisfied the purchase. Love the smart lock. I bought 2 and just installed one. They need to enlarge original hole. It’s not big issue for me. Now it works great. Only thing I didn’t go through is that I don’t know how to hook up 2.4G wifi with the lock gateway. So far I can’t control the lickand setup passwords remotely, yet. If the customer service explains it for me, I will be really appreciated it! Recommend the product.

After hook up with gateway next day of installation. Everything is good now. I can setup timed passcode, and permanent one. When lock was unlocked I will get the massage right way from my phone.
So far I installed second one in backyard door, too.
The product is everything I need for my Airbnb hosting. And it’s great with lower price than some other brands!

P. Ling: Connects great with the app for lock/unlock and password.
Like all other smart locks it requires the larger hole size - I had to make mine larger - kit at hardware store.
there is a more recent model that I needed which can connect to a door sensor so you can tell remotely if the door is open or closed. If you don’t need that feature this is a great solution - happy with the quality and performance

Pearl L.: Easy to install, and worked really great for the first 10 months or so. Autolock feature is convenient for forgetful people, keypad entry is nice if you just want to leave the house and not worry about bringing your keys, and being able to set up codes for long term and temporary access is very handy especially if you need to let a dogsitter in while you're out of town or let family members let themselves in without making a key for them. TTlock app is fine, and it looks like there are a number of compatible apps that work with this lock, so you have choices. Instruction manual is also not super detailed for troubleshoooting, but customer support has been good. Our lock started beeping in sets of five and stopped turning about 10 months in and the manual had no info about it, but I reached out to customer support and they have been helpful and will replace the lock. So I'd say the product is terrific, long term reliability is so-so but the customer support makes up for it.
