Oscar Corrales: Overall, I thought the value was great however, my keypad got damaged during the installation possibly because my helper put the batteries in backwards, but even so that shouldn't of happened that easily breaking that is and it was smoking hot! A lot of these in the past never seen a possible fire risk on any of them was really surprised when this happened.
I didn't install it until after 30 days of having it and does seller no obligation to honor warranty and of course they didn’t…. A lot of these lower priced items their customer service once Amazon doesn't ding them for not having it. I did reach out complained emailed and now leave a review, I never heard back, and all I asked for it was a new keypad not full replacement.

Another thing is for whatever reason I was missing two screws I say no way to prove I misplaced or lost or if they were missing from the start. problem happened when I used slightly longer bolts and again to my surprise, they ripped open the hole on lock, very weak, must be careful and handle deadbolt lightly… which doesn’t sit well, given that I see it essential it take a baseball bat or iron bar direct hit without breaking…not to sure...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: When I opened it a small loose screw was rattling around inside that broke free from a hold down bracket inside. The other remaining screw held the device under the hold down bracket in place just fine but I did add some silicone caulking to it for safety's sake. I had an older Black and Decker door lock mounting kit that had all the needed drill bits and such. With it, installing the lock was very easy following the instructions that came with the lock. Following the instructions to set the open code was simple too. Just take your time and pay attention. I installed it on the side door to my garage and it looks great and works like a dream! Easy access to my garage now since I don't always carry my keys with me. The price was definitely what caught my attention since everything I found locally was so much more. Well built and solid on the door.

CestMoiLinh: Bought these 2 locks to replace aging Schlage first-generation electronic locks that would sometimes lock us out of house even though no one touched the keypads. With the understanding that these locks will eventually fail after a few years and after much research, purchased OrangeLion locks which seem to be of good quality and have good reviews. In addition, liked the key option to unlock in case batteries fail to open. Look up online videos for clear, simple instructions EXCEPT for one key thing that is important when reprogramming the original master code. **It is important to have the deadbolt retracted with thumb lock in vertical position.** Then proceed to do the following when resetting the master code:
1) Insert provided reset keypin before installing 4th AA battery.
2) Keep pin depressed UNTIL deadbolt has fully extended and hear a final beep.
3) Then remove keypin and start reprogramming master code according to the clearly prined instructions.

If you don't follow the above steps, you may spend a frustrating 20 to 30 minutes trying to program and wondering why lock engages but deadbolt doesn't move.

The thumb lock being in vertical position is KEY...

Worldwaking: Used this for several months now. Easy to install, setup and use. Comes with easy instuctions and video. Easy to add numbers and change locking timing.

Only cons are that it is noisy. It gives two loud grinding noises and also occasionally the deadbolt tries to close too quickly
