Secure Your Home with a Keyless WiFi Deadbolt Lock and Keypad

Amazon Customer: I have had this lock for over a year now and would like to leave a review for those who might be in the market for a new lock.

Look and feel
This lock looked great and felt great from the moment I opened the package to assembly. It's no iPhone packaging but I was quite impressed. The installation instruction was easy to follow and it took me about 30 minutes to replace my previous lock. It came with most things I needed except for the drill :).

Gateway and the mobile app
I bought the lock with the gateway so I could manage the lock(s) remotely. The gateway was easy to set up and with the iPhone app (I believe Android app is also available) I was able to create permanent keys as well as temporary keys with expiration dates. The app has a lot of functionalities that I haven't had time to explore them all. I got all I need without investing too much time learning all the features.

Functional

This has been life savor for our family where we can let her kids to use it safely too. The lock’s performance has been very consistent. No issues so far. Georgi: I bought and installed this deadbolt for my mother who is suffering with memory loss. She has locked herself out numerous times and now with this lock I no longer have to take a 20 min drive to let her in. Can unlock her house whenever she calls. She looses the keys or forgets the code but knows she can call me an I can get her back in. Gives us peace of mind. Can see this also being great for airbnb. You can leave a key for person inside your unit and just unlock it for them upon their arrival. Can use your phone, key or elect6key card to unlock this lock. If need tech support ask for Nancy. She was very helpful.

Mary: Installing the lock was relatively simple. It would be nice to know which version of the lock you were actually receiving ahead of time, saying it's random doesn't really cut it.

However, getting the gateway to connect was a nightmare. The process looks simple, but what is unclear is that it both connects to the router (which is less distance sensitive) and the door (which can be extremely short range depending on the door) at the same time, and when it fails it's unclear why. We eventually got it to work, but only with the gateway within a few feet of the metal clad door. Not the 15 feet they suggest!

Constantly having to unplug the gateway to get it to reenter the pairing mode (which times out fairly quickly) is unnecessary.

We also needed to restart the phone as well, for some reason. Better documentation for this process (than a few pictures on a tiny foldout), would be nice. Tech support was quick to respond and did give a few good hint though we never finished the support process as it started working before then. It wasn't terribly clear who to contact either.

Après plus de quatre mois d’utilisation, toujours aussi satisfait et sur la première serrure toujours les batteries à 100% malgré 4-5 déverrouiller / verrouiller par jours
Sur l’autre serrure il y avait un petit défaut de consommation des batteries mais cela a été arrangé par le remplacement au complet de la serrure donc je suis aussi très satisfait du service après-vente
J’aurais juste une petite remarque sur les clés fournis, je trouve que pour une serrure de sécurité les clés physiques auraient pu être plus sécurisées et pas une simple clé plate classique

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I liked the look of the light up keypad of this model, and needed smartlock for the airbnb business. Having smartlocks has been perfection, being able to set the guests pin, between the checkin and checkout dates, is what we needed (no more lost keys, handing keys over and all that). Eventually we even use Jervis/ttlock to have to automatically set pins for guests.
Japanese doors are not the standards that these locks work for, so we just hired our builder to install them.
Went from 5 to 4 stars as you need the wifi module separately, hopefully in future they will be integrated.
I hope they bring out newer stylish models, keeping an eye out.

Shanna D. Warren: The set up is simple and easy. There's nothing complicated about it. It's stayed connected every since I've set it up. The only issue is that I can only work with it up close. I have Alexa on my phone, but it doesn't recognize the command when I'm outside of the house.

Que: I come from a couple of biometric (but otherwise dumb) locks, one self-contained (just like this one), and another consisting of a wired solution with separate locking mechanism, control box, and fingerprint/RFID sensor. Like everybody should, I am not connecting and do not plan to connect this lock to the Internet since I am unable to ascertain the quality and security of its firmware.

First the goods: The lock works as advertised. The fingerprint sensor is very responsive (quasi-instantaneous). The installation was dead easy, just as advertised. The lock is very light and generally feels kind of flimsy, but the casing is mostly metal (probably aluminum) and good enough for the intended use; time will tell how will it sustain the great outdoors but so far it looks fine. The controlling app is intuitive and easy to use. As advertised the lock is very versatile in terms of operation, with operating options ranging from one-time codes to biometrics. The response time is on the slow side, but not annoyingly so. The lock provides audible (voice) feedback on completion or failure of most operations, which I find very useful.
