Bob: I recently received the safe and was able to easily set both keypad and fingerprint codes.
Safe is large enough to hold both my M1911 and S&W 9mm auto, along with spare clips for each.
I mounted to the top of a shelf but the mounting method would very easily mount under desk, or shelf, without difficulty.

Chuck B.: I don’t know about battery life because I haven’t had it long enough to determine that, but I like the fact that it gives a reading on the front telling the remaining battery life, which I really like.
Storage space is sufficient enough for 2 hand guns and clips. It seems like nice quality. Opens easily but not quite far enough out, so you have to pull it out more. Which isn’t a problem but you will want to anchor it down so it doesn’t slide around on you when pulling it out. It’s heavy, but will still slide around more easily then you think. It has a metal plate which is perfect for that. The light inside helps because I keep it at just high enough that I need to stretch a little to reach my gun and being able to see it makes retrieving it simple.

Matthew: I’ve got many many gun safes and have had some crap out on my early or eventually break the internal plastic the holds the locking mechanism making it openable by anyone, but not this case. It’s a great size to hold two guns and plenty of small miscellaneous items. I’d buy another to put in my truck as these safes are perfect. It springs open just right, has a perfect internal light that has been more handy then I thought, the fingerprint works wonders and of course the combo does too. Probably my favorite safe I have ever owned and would have no problem buying it again if needed.

Rob Montgomery: Because I read a number of reviews saying that the safe doesn't hold the fingerprint and/or passcode programming, I waited a couple of months before posting this review. Maybe I'm just lucky, but mine has worked perfectly since I have had it. I'm not in and out of it daily like some people are, but it gets opened at least weekly and given how much I have played with it I estimate I have opened it probably 300-400 times (mostly using the fingerprint scan). So far it has been great and the battery level indicator still shows 100%.

I will update this review if I start having issues.
