The previous loop I bought is unraveling at the joint where the ends meet. It's early to tell how this one will last, but the joint looks shorter and tighter. It still makes a slight bump as it goes through the mechanism.
BTW, the stated dimension is from the mechanism to the other end of the loop, not the length you would get by cutting the joint and laying the cord straight. My mistake, when I chose a size the first time.
