lili: Easy to install. However, I accidentally installed one of the little handles the wrong way and it seems to be impossible to take off without breaking.

The product works as intended although I wish that the metal clips at the top were not visible.

Alan: They came pretty quick for a special order item. Pretty good quality and easy to install. Only reason for 4 stars is they are pretty sheer for me. You can't see thru them but I can see a silhouette figure from the outside at night with the light on. I have some other blinds from a different vendor, made in the same style but are totally darkening. I did not see this description for these blinds or an option for getting them more darkening. .
I do really like the operation though, they lower from the top or raise from the bottom and work almost effortlessly. I will be purchasing more. Price is good too.

Sinatra fan: I ordered these blinds because they are considerably less expensive than purchasing “off the shelf” or custom ordering from the home improvement stores. While the home improvement stores can cut the width of their “off the shelf” brands, they cannot cut the length. The standard length for most “off the shelf” brands is 72 inches, which would have left too much excess length for my windows.
The blinds were easy to install with easy to understand instructions. The handles that snap onto the rails (for raising and lowering) require pressure to snap them into place. I recommend installing them before hanging the blinds and make sure the handle will not catch/bind the shade material when it does snap onto the rail.
I rated the blinds four out of five stars because on the largest of the “Top Down Bottom Up” blinds I ordered (71W x 59H), the top rail is slightly warped at one end. This causes the top rail not to seat perfectly at one end, but the blind is still functional.
I ordered the cellular honeycomb shades in “white.” They are not light blocking, but do provide complete privacy at night. You can’t see out and no one can see in (even standing less than...

Phil D: Other than the crazy high price, I love these shades. I bought mini blinds for this same window for $29 but I won't deduct any stars because of the price....as long as the shades endure and function properly. The company communicated with me twice via email to make sure of the size; Thank you.
All the parts were there in the box and the directions are clear & easy to understand (They're also only in English; a BIG plus with me)! Installation was simple, just mount the 4 brackets and snap the unit into them. I did it alone in 45 minutes.
This type of shade does take some getting used to though. I'm used to walking up to the window and parting the blinds to see outside but you can't with these. They're made of a solid honeycomb fiber type of material that you can't see through or separate. No big deal though. The ease with which they raise and lower more than makes up for it.
The real test will be next summer when the direct sunlight hits it for much of the day. It is guaranteed for 5 years so I'll see how the material holds up to the intense heat.
