N.J.K.: The media could not be loaded.  They would be easy to install if the correct screws for inside mount were supplied. (reason 4* instead of 5) Love the white, it doesn't have yellow tinge. Light weight which makes install easier if your a senior as I am. The rail is grey which is fine for me..I didn't realize there was an option for that! I previously had top down bottom up and wish I had gotten that so maybe I'll order more with that option because these are reasonable priced unlike the Levolor ones I'm replacing. Recommended!

Jane L, Hendrickson: After ordering the shades, they arrived within 7 days. Measuring our windows for the shades was explained well in directions. All needed parts were packed well. The shades fit well. We ordered 10 different shades in the past month. Installing the shades was easy. Some were room darkening and some were filtered light. Some were mounted outside, some inside. We are very pleased with our shades as they are attractive, durable and easy to install.

BC: Purchased these shades because I was tired of getting my old string controlled shades repaired. I am more than pleased. They provide light while still affording privacy and with the simple raise and lower finger tips efficiency. I wish I had discovered these much sooner. Plus they arrived sooner than anticipated.

A.Ward: I'm going to preface this with: I read directions while viewing the parts and picturing the process and have a lot of mechanical and assembly experience/natural aptitude/innate fearlessness.

Having so said, I screwed up the first set of these blinds because of hubris. I wanted to shorten them, 55" window and 72" length seemed like they would stack up and be awkward. My brilliant idea led to the second purchase of these blinds, an intimate knowledge of the mechanism that makes cordless blinds work and how to take apart and reassemble it, and that the blinds' mounting hardware takes a couple of tries.
The previous installed blinds were a cheap fix, without the width variety of these, resulting in an annoying 1" gap where the light, heat and the window edges were visible and un-ignorable (Not a word, but you know what I mean- it was an eyesore) and the window looked shabby despite any other window treatments.
The blinds were available in 32" width and the white isn't a paint kind of pure white because they are two layers fabric. I mentioned it to clarify what to expect, but they are obviously white. The width is exactly what is stated, measure two or more times with...
