Andrew L.: I appreciate German engineering and this piece is no exception. The pieces are perfect accessories to the Kerdi shower system. The black color goes well with the 2"x2" mosaic tiles I installed as the drain cover is around 4".

G.: It is expensive and not easy to install as you need to use thin set or other type of bonding agent to hold the ring. But that is the case with all Schluter drains. This one is low profile and therefore perfect to retile shower floor.
