TechDude: I own at least 10 sets of these. I use them exclusively on all of my good (expensive) guitars & basses. Most sets are nickel, but I have some black ones for guitars with black hardware & a set or two of chrome ones. I have tried most of the strap locks on the market & these are the best. I have the Fender strap locks on a Strat-type guitar that I built myself, from parts I ordered individually. I bought the Fender strap lock because it is red & I thought it looked cool. It does look cool & it looks a lot like these, but functionally, it's not even in the same league as these Schallers. It feels like it's going to break right in half. Or just come "on hooked". The Schallers are solid, well designed, well manufactured & great looking, but they don't come in red. I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune, when my red one breaks & my hand built, one-of-a-kind guitar goes crashing to the stage. I'll be kicking myself for not putting on some of these Schaller strap locks.

I've never had any problems with these Schaller strap locks & honestly, I've been using mine for 15 + years & twice that long if I count the sets of locking...

Mr. Capone: I have been using schaller locking strap locks on all of my guitars since the early 90's. For 20 years, I never had one break, come undone, or let a guitar fall.. then around 2000 every single new one I bought, or came included with a (fender) guitar, ended up breaking and coming undone. For some reason, and I believe it is the quality of the metal of the inner washer, they ALL broke... and I had stopped using them for that reason. FYI, my old ones still are holding on.. Then, they released this new design with the promise of a quieter more secure attachment.

They are expensive, and considering the low quality original design produced by Shaller over the last couple of decades, I was reluctant to try them out again.. but I did... I'm happy to say that they are indeed, once again, a worthy purchase.

You will need an allen wrench to install the screws, and a very small screwdriver like the kind to fix glasses, neither of which are included. The new design allows for thick leather straps, which is what I use, and I have not had a problem with fit on any strap I have used. You'll need that small screwdriver to tighten the nut on the strap, which keeps...

Cliente Amazon: Come da titolo il prodotto arrivato non corrisponde a quello descritto in foto. In foto è riportato lo Shaller "S-Locks" che è il modello nuovo, invece hanno mandato lo Shaller "Security Locks" che è il modello vecchio.
Il titolo dell'annuncio invece diceva correttamente che si trattava di "Set Security Lock Completo" ma la foto mi ha tratto in inganno.
Ho tenuto alla fine il prodotto perché ne avevo bisogno urgente (button sul body si era spaccato e non teneva la tracolla) e comunque il modello vecchio Shaller è assolutamente affidabile, ma do' 2 stelle per mancanza di chiarezza sull'annuncio
