Raymond Daley: I wish I had ordered these BEFORE the strap popped of my guitar the other day as I was putting it on. Guitar ok but the lead that was plugged in took the brunt off it and bent over at a 90 degree angle🥴
These are so simple but do a great job. I thought they were metal in the photos but they are plastic. But if you do happen to break one they are cheap as chips, slightly cheaper actually, given the rice of chips these days😁 Very happy to recommend these👍

JSRadio: Secures BOTH your guitar strap and cable in place. Caution: do not confuse with a different type of strap lock (using the word "tab") also sold by D'Addario, which is rubber.

Kevin Hesley: These locks are a secure fit and keep the strap secured to my guitar. They are not intrusive to see either.

Alessandro Pianaro: Buon sistema di blocco, svolge bene la sua funzione

Pastedechouan: The picture seems to show two pieces, one larger than the other, what would have been a good thing for my acoustic guitar with a jack integrated in the larger bottom pin. But... both have the same size and don't fit the larger pin. Just too bad, for they are certainly the best way to secure a guitar strap... except mine.

Carlos: Justamente lo que nesecitaba ya qué mi thali no ajustaba bien al momento de colocarlo en el botón y a veces se me soltaba la guitarra del tali. Con esta pieza lo solución y lo encontré a muy buen precio.

Clark Woolstenhulme: These worked well on the endpin for my electric guitar, but I cannot recommend using them with a mandolin. I bought them for a performance (a play) where I played and danced with the mandolin on stage, and the thickness of my strap plus the strap-lock had a tendency to pull the endpin out of the mandolin enough that it came out on three different occasions in rehearsal. Fortunately I was playing the mandolin or was able to catch it with my left arm before it hit the ground. I could never get my endpin in tight enough with this straplock for it to be safer than simply using a fresh strap with stiff leather. For tighter endpins or those that are screwed in, these work fine.

(Note that I am a Vine reviewer but I paid for this myself).

TW: Unfortunately, these do not accommodate strap buttons that also serve as the plug-in for your guitar. I really like these for the guitars with buttons that fit, but I wish they had an XL size to use on other guitars. Much easier to put on and remove than the traditional rubber washers.

Loumutt: If you don’t want to spend the $25 plus for permanent strap likes Schallers (which are great btw), these are a great alternative! I always have a spare set in my gig bag. These go on easy and they click when they are in place. They have a small channel for your cable but it’s really not big enough for good quality cables. That’s not a deal breaker for me. I’m old school and I like to run my cable between my bass and the strap. Not all my basses have schaller like strap locks. I learned the hard way. I took it for granted that my original strap pins would work, which they did. It was the strap that came off because the holes had worn themselves large enough to slip. I still cringe at the thought of my Marcus Miller Signature bass taking a header during a gig. It did get a ding but nothing major. It won’t ever happen again! Yes I did put Schallers on my Marcus Miller! I have 4 other basses. Get a set or 2 or 3, and play without having your axe do a nose dive!
