Ron: You'll never have to worry about your guitar or bass falling to the ground because it came off the strap. That's the whole idea behind strap locks. But, it also makes it so easy to take the strap on and off. If you have multiple instruments with these straplocks, you can use the same shoulder strap and go from instrument to instrument. This is great onstage for switching instruments.
