SAMODRA Self-Cleaning Bidet Attachment for Toilet

Emily Taylor: I bought this bidet attachment to put in our bathroom for our remodel project. I previously (about 3 years ago) had purchased a different bidet attachment through Amazon for about $10 more than this one. For three years, I liked that bidet, but the intensity was crazy!!! This one is much softer at it's lowest level which is great. Maybe it's just the way the plumber installed it, but it seemed to have gone in easily and I have already used it a few times and love it.
I definitely notice a difference between the two settings - bum wash and feminine wash. The feminine wash is much softer and has a wider spray, like adjusting the setting on a squirt bottle from stream to spritz. Only had it a few days but I'm already so happy!

Greenmomma6: This is a cold water only bidet, so I did not rate it on temperature control. The pressure is VERY easy to adjust, and can be quite strong depending on your homes water pressure, so adjust up slowly to avoid discomfort. I find the back side jet to be positioned well, but the front one requires some shifting around to get the proper clean. The front jet would benefit from a more spread out spray, as the jet is somewhat narrow.
Pluses+ easy to clean, easy to set up, slim design fits in small bathroom areas, intuitive use, good price
negatives- sprays could be positioned better, I haven't found a way to do that on the bidet.

Amazon Customer: I was looking for an add-on bidet that does not require electricity and came across this one. The materials and finish are good. Works as intended. Even though I purchased via amazon.com.au, I unintentionally bought as "shipped from Amazon US" and the parts that affix to the existing plumbing did not match. I don't know why would this be available to be shipped from the US to AU if the standards are different but the important thing is that the factory was extremely responsive and sent the correct spare part at no extra cost to me. Very satisfied, cleaner than before and using much less toilet paper =)

Harley GirlHarley Girl: This is SO wonderful!!! I bought one for my primary home & my vacation home !! It’s SO nice. I was a tad concerned it would be too cold but it is really wonderful. It is refreshing & you feel SO much cleaner. It’s refreshing it’s hard to describe but I love love it & never want to go with out at least one in each house!! Now as far as putting it on , don’t totally believe the 15 install. My husband is a little handy & he said a swear word or two & the first attempt it was leaking We had to go buy different larger washers bcz the washer they give you? It leaks & it’s a bit iffy bcz it’s metal being tightened on to plastic. So if we leave for the other home I’m going to turn the water off to the toilet with the bidet so if it DOES start to leak it won’t happen where it will really damage the house bcz we aren’t here. I really do recommend it. I really do tho. Just know you may need more rubber washers. If it does start to leak I will revise this & remove stars. I know lots of reviews say things like that & nothing is updated but this is August of 2023. I’ll write more if I have any issues with either unit I bought.

Francois BoucherFrancois Boucher: It works much better than I expected. Good quality product. The water pressure is very sufficient to completely clean your derrière. Then you use an absorbent towel (either throw-away thick tissue, or a washable/reusable cloth - many models available) to dry up.
The installation is more difficult than the videos would suggest… even more so if your toilet is is a corner, with limited access to the high-pressure tubing underneath the seat. Some suggestions:
1. If the meshed tubing carrying the water to the tank is difficult to access, you will need a faucet/basin wrench;
2. With steel fittings like those found on the high pressure stainless steel toilet hose and T-connector provided with the bidet, you will need to use 8 to 10 turns of the Teflon™ plumber's tape around the exposed threads of pipe and at the base of the bidet before screwing in the connectors;
3. Wrapping Teflon™ tape around pipe threads in a hard to reach place requires a special, but easy, technique. You will find videos of this on YouTube (R4KJmWUZcrs).
When finished, DO check carefully that everything is totally watertight!

Ed pedraza: la verdad tenia mis dudas por que leía mucho comentario en ingles sobre gente que batallaba mucho con las conecciones por que eran de otro tamaño y no quedaban con sus sanitarios etc. pues me avente a comprarlo de todos modos y la verdad no tuve ningún problema. la manguera que incluye y la válvula T que se conecta al tanque del inodoro, ambas son de la medida estándar de sanitarios en mexico. así que no tendrás ningunproblema instalando. todo se aprieta super fácil. tarde 15 min en hacer todo y sin siquiera usar herramienta. vale mucho la pena.

INSTALLATION

I’m a 59 year old female and installed all 3 myself. I did need my husbands help in removing the old toilet seats that were put on too tight. After that,….I kicked him out of the room so I could finish the installation. The instructions are very clear. I needed to use two tools, a wrench and a larger flat head screw driver (to remove the toilet seats). We also had to buy a flexible hose for two of our toilets that had a rigid hose,….because the T joint part made the connection down to the shut off valve shorter. The kit includes the plumbers tape. We opted to replace our toilet seats with slow close lids while doing the project on 2 of the toilets,….the 3rd toilet seat was wood,…..we had zero issues with getting them to fit over the bidet.

Cynthia TachenyCynthia Tacheny: I used the expensive Toto with the heated water and remote control at my BIL's and fell in love. Then I looked at the price. I found this, and it had a low profile and kept my toilet seat in the same spot, which I liked. I also liked the price. So I thought I'd give it a try. I love it!

It took my husband (who does know how to install/fix things) closer to an hour to install than the 15 minutes advertised. He said he had to "make some modifications." I don't know what those were, but it works perfectly with no leaks.

I always seem to turn the control the wrong way to start (lady parts rather than bum), but I'm sure I'll do it correctly eventually. And, I don't find much of a difference in the water angle, but the lady parts side has a somewhat gentler stream.

I don't know what I'll think come February, but right now the water is cool, but not startingly so. I can barely swim in a lake ("it's too cold!"), but I don't have a problem with this. Of course, it's July in Michigan, so I might have to update in winter.

The only thing I don't like is as pictured. There are a lot of places for stuff to get trapped behind the seat now. I can see why it had to be...
