GenieBidet ELONGATED Toilet Seat - Self Cleaning Dual Nozzle Bidet Attachment

Ted HallTed Hall: We purchased our original GenieBidet for our master bath during the "Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020" Since then we have seen many friends purchase bidet seats, both GenieBidet and others, at our recommendation. We're about to remodel our MB and we'll be using the guest bath for at least 3 weeks and after spending some evacuation time in a hotel during Hurricane Hillary we realized that we would not last that long without a GenieBidet!

We have only one issue with the installation instructions: The care/maintenance/installation manual says specifically to use the expansion nuts first and foremost and to use the butterfly nut only when the expansion nuts cannot be used. HOWEVER, the installation tips paper in a separate plastic sleeve say "Always use butterfly nuts when possible. Only use expansion nuts when butterfly nuts can't be used. I'm assuming that the "Claim your free bonus" flyer with the installation tips was meant as an addendum to the manual - but your customer's would be better served and made more aware of correct installation procedures if those "tips" were better identified and labeled. Aside from that little hiccup - loving both my GenieBidets!

Hugh: The GenieBidet toilet seat doesn't fit my unit. There isn't enough room between the toilet lid and the water tank so I am in the process of returning it. Apprently, Amazon.ca is not giving me full re-imbursement. I paid $134.33 Cdn. tax included but am only receiving $106 Cdn. Go figure? The shipping for the older version of the GenieBidet is covered by Prime but the GenieBidet Stealth is not. Again, what's going on?

Jean Lafontaine: Très bon produit, facile à installé mais surprise lors de la réception à cause des frais de dédouanement qui ont fait bondir la facture de 63$ (incluant les taxes canadiennes) ce qui rend cela beaucoup moins intéressant. Au moment de passer la commande, il n'y avait pas d'avis de frais supplémentaires.

Eric Chouinard: At first, I thought that a Bidet wasn't for me. I already knew that it would be an ecofriendly choice but I simply thought that I would not like it.

Then a friend bought one and convinced me to try it. It didn't take more to make me buy one. I read a lot on Internet and found that the GenieBidet would be the best choice for me. I don't regret it at all. Simple to install and it gets the job done. Nice product!

SeraphSeraph: I've been considering purchasing a bidet toilet seat for a while now and I finally pulled the trigger, and I'm glad I did. I didn't think that spending $1000+ for a top of the line, heated, drying, bowl cleaning, remote controlled system was worth it. So I figured this was a good entry level option. Now that I have it installed and had the chance to test it out, calling it "entry level" would almost be a disservice.

Installation:
Very straightforward (if you take the time to read the instructions first), taped the seat template to the exact position I wanted, then screwed in the adapter plate. Seat snapped right into position. If you need to readjust the position, know that the button to release the seat from the adapter plate is on the right hand side. Before installing the T-connector or white water hose, remember to check the rubber washers and filter in connectors and make sure they aren't crooked and fully depressed. I removed the white regulator cover and o-ring (2nd picture) from the seat, using some needle nose pliers, and then reinserted just the regulator component. Amazon Customer: Easy to install, but not my first time. The seat bracket does slide from side to side, but I had the same problem with my old toilet seat. Probably wouldn't be ab issue if your original toilet seat stays put.
The spray is strong when you remove the pressure regulator thing. I'm glad it has two spraying positions, as it gives you more than one option. I find I prefer the front/feminine sprayer for every day use. A great device to save paper, and good for your health and hygiene.

Carlos Madruga: I was worried that it wouldn't fit my Kohler French style toilet, as most respondents to my question said it wouldn't, but fit perfectly. It took me abot 20 minutes to install. If you have doubts, best to review the installion video on the GenieBidet site. Very helpful. Didn't even need to read the instructions.
Pros: Easy of installation, quality fiitings, functions properly. Shut off valve is great, especially if you have kids. Looks very stylish. Water pressure surprisingly strong and can be diminished by using an insert the they provide. All mechanical. No electronics to fiddle with or breakdown.
Cons: Opening is a tad small for larger rear-ends. Might be an issue for larger people. No problem for my smaller frame. Water very cold. Not surprising, since there's no heating option and I installed it during cold Montreal winter month of February. Not a deal breaker. Might actually be a plus during our hot and humid summers.
Conclusion: I highly recommend this product.

Amazon User: This is my initial review of the Ellegantz GenieBidet seat. I have had the GenieBidet for one day. This review will talk about my impressions of the GenieBidet seat, and also contrast it with the Luxe Bidet Neo 110, which I returned.

Why I returned the Luxe Bidet Neo 110 and ordered the GenieBidet:

First, I will talk about the Luxe Neo 110 which I tried before ordering the GenieBidet. I ordered the Neo 110 after reading the thousands of excellent reviews. The Neo 110, is an under-the-seat add-on bidet that is installed underneath the rear of your current toilet seat. In the short time I had the Neo 110, it appeared to be a quality product. It was made of durable plastic, had excellent water pressure, a metal braided hose, and worked as intended. I was very happy with it after I first installed it. I then realized the inherent problem with the under-the-seat design, and this was enough for me to return it and try the GenieBidet.

The problem with the Luxe Neo 110 design, is that it raises the back of your current toilet seat up, causing the seat to slope downward from back to front. This created a situation where the front of my toilet seat was the only part...
