Terry L Chaloupecky: Really great size. The only bad thing is the small seed for canaries and finches, more whole seed goes through to the bottom than what I expected. So I have a flat dish on the bottom of the cage to pour it in. Nothing really wasted then. Otherwise it's great.

Karina Castro: When we placed on the cage for our bird, it wasn't a sturdy fit no matter how many adjustments we made. Even in a different cage it was wobbly and our bird would just grab a seed and eat it out of the feeder or scratch it or nudge the seeds out to eat on the floor of the cage. The only way to get it sturdy was to make our own adjustments to it and attach it through the many doors on the bigger cage we have.

mommabear: This works great, I wish I had bought it years ago. It took my parakeets about a day and a half before they would try to use it, after that they used it just fine. My old feeder would be full of shells and seeds. I'd have to dump it all out to refill. This one keeps the seeds and shells separated just like it says it will. Much less mess in the cage and no more wasted food.

Dajanlia: My budgies warmed up to it in one hour. They only use this now as their feeder. I have two budgies and two of these feeders. Now I can see how much they eat and they don’t waste food now. They are foraging in the first husk tray sometimes too. I gave it 4 stars because it can not feed two birds at a time.

michaelmichael: The media could not be loaded. So as you can see in my photos I had to modify how this would hang in my large bird cage. I did only use velcro straps to attach it to the cage that way I can remove it for easy cleaning and to add more seeds when needed. It definitely takes some time for the birds to realize the change that I did and to understand where the bird food is.i definitely do like the fact that she'll of the bird food will drop in the bottom container, which will allow me to dispose of afterwards..... And yes I'm aware that the bird feeder is suppose to be on the outside of the cage lol. But I thought why not try to at least try and attach in the cage instead lol...well as you can see I did it! Not the best way of doing it,but I got it done...I personally wish there was a bird feeder that was big enough so I wouldn't have to modify it like this

Jess: For anyone who is worried about this working for their budgies or smaller birds, I can confirm that my two adopted adult budgies learned how to use it in a week. The adult budgies I have were two years old and had never used this type of feeder, yet they still learned how to use it within days. Please disregard any reviews that say that their budgie couldn't find the food... They probably didn't give the bird enough time to get used to it. The birds get curious after a while and will look for the food.
About the product itself: This feeder is going to save you from a lot of clean up time chasing after empty seed shells! It's such a great way to feed you birds and be sure that they always have new seeds to eat. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the metal bolt that screws the feeder to the cage is a little short. Check out the pictures I post to see what I mean. I had to really push the metal cage against it to secure the bolt to the cage. I can probably buy my own longer bolt, but this is something the seller should consider changing themselves considering the extremely high price for a domestic bird feeder. Other than that though, I got it to stay...
