Ria A: This machine does do a nice job at sorting the coins but requires constant stop and start if the coins aren’t perfectly clean. It is fairly simple to fix when it jams but it happens every few minutes and you have to stop it. I also wish it had a better system to show you the tubes are accurately counted but all of mine did end up the exact same size. Overall, it is quicker than doing it by hand and this was by far the cheapest machine!

Monika Herfkens: I didnt read the negative comments.... the coins got jammed right away and did not go into the assorted trays. Some coins stuck internally where you cannot get at them. I am returning it with coins still in it because i cannot get them out. IT IS AN AWEFUL PRODUCT. Anti jam.... LOL. I would get my money pack from that Patent.

Amazon Customer: It's confusing trying to figure out which of the many coin counters to get. This little machine fit my needs. Not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars, but sick of hand sorting since none of the banks will count your change any more, we went looking.
This machine is just as all the reviews say - it's not nearly as fast as a bank machine, and as long as you feed it slowly and carefully watch the outflow, it works great. It's best to have 2 people, so one can carefully feed very small quantities of change, and the other monitors and assists the coins flowing into the tube. Also as suggested, buy the pre rolled tubes. It's going to take some time, allow around 40 minutes for a coffee can full of change.
If you try to go faster, or fill the hopper, it will jam for sure. And be careful to align the top of each roller with the top of each tube. If you do that, and stop the filling the machine as each tube fills, each roll will be perfectly filled. This machine should last you forever as long as you aren't trying to use it as a business.

PhotoGraphicsPhotoGraphics: I am guilty of being into gadgets way more than most people. Some of them turn out to be important time and energy savers and end up being a wise decision. Others end up in the back of a drawer never to be seen or touched again. So I have to admit this isn’t something that I had a pressing need to buy. I’ve owned maybe a dozen coin sorter gadgets and not one of them worked or was worth the effort to try to use them. I actually don’t even handle money that often, preferring to use plastic cards or electronic payments. But I do have a huge collection of pocket change going back many years that I wanted to convert to green cash and the last time I did that at one of those self-serve kiosks they took a forty-percent cut out of it. So basically I figured if this thing worked it would pay for itself.

Even though I don’t have a regular need for a coin sorter I still opted for the motorized one instead of the hand crank one, which probably would have made more sense. Joshua Suslak: Out of every single purchase I have ever made on Amazon, I have never had a single bad experience except with this product. It doesn't even come close to working as it should. I started by testing it out with 50 clean pennies I COUNTED ahead of time. The coins were not properly sorted, the pennies went into the nickel slot AND penny slot, the machine jammed (from only 50 pennies...come on). The wrapper also filled up before the pennies were even full so that you can't even trust the count. Already I was working with a piece of garbage product, but I decided to throw in a bunch of coins and see what it did with them. It immediately jammed (again these are clean, newish coins) and wouldn't fix itself as advertised. So I then had to figure out how to remove the jam. But there is NO WAY TO TAKE APART ANY OF THE PIECES. You can't separate the overflow tray, you can't lift the lid entirely off, you cant take out the whole sorter to remove the jam. I had coins going down into the power supply area, coins jammed in places you couldn't reach, I ended up having to take the whole thing upside down and shaking it until most of the coins fell out, then I had to detach the...
