I wanted something small and inexpensive, just for me practicing, noodling around. I'm not a good player, definitely a beginner, skill-wise. This amp does the job for me. Small, inexpensive, has an overdrive button so you can go soft or rock out! I have a zoom pedal, so didn't need anything more in the way of effects- chorus, etc. The only issue, a non issue for me, is the low hum when the overdrive is on- not that big a deal for me. It's loud enough to fill a room. Probably not for gigs. If you're looking for a basic practice amp- this is could fit the bill, it did for me.

Dewey Stilwell: Tried with multiple instruments. Sounds great. Makes guitar fun. Loud enough for solo play, light and small enough that I never have to think about it.

vcponsardin: Works great with my Taylor acoustic. Very small, light weight (yet sturdy), simple to operate. Very nice sound quality with excellent tone and volume range. I was reluctant to buy a 10 watt amp at first, but this has more than enough power for home use (living room, den, etc.) or in a small performance venue. I wouldn't recommend this for a mid-size theatre or auditorium. But in a confined space with 10-20 people it would be just fine. Great for practice as well. Hard to beat the portability, features, and price. I'm very happy with it.

Kenton H. MacDowell: For the price, this amp is honestly incredible. Unless you play black metal, it's probably not a good studio tool, and is definitely not loud enough to be heard over a drummer playing at typical volumes, but as a practice tool, the size and price can't be beaten. The EQ works fine, it'll get pretty distorted, and it'll get clean, though active pickups can cause some overdrive on the clean channel. Yes, the sound is on the thin side, but I'm reviewing the product for what it is - a cheap practice amp. It almost makes me regret buying my Orange practice amp, since I got this one as a gift for someone just starting. I may buy a few more of these just to keep all the places I might want to play guitar, though they're so small and portable one should do fine for all practice and jam sessions (without a loud drummer) just fine.

reedreed: I have used the amp for about a month at the time of this review. The amp itself is very good for practice/bedroom play and can get quite loud considering its size. Overall i am very happy with the amp.
The included cable is very poor quality and split at the guitar connecter after using it only once. If you are consider purchasing this amp i would buy a guitar cable as well because the included one is useless.

Vlad: Very satisfied with the product as I was looking for an inexpensive amplifier since I just started playing guitar. This micro-amp works great and fulfills all the basic needs when playing guitar, it is also cheap which makes it great for starters. Provides pretty loud volume for an amp of this size.
The only issue with it is that the louder the volume is turned up, the more distortion is present in the audio. But in the end, this amp is not designed for providing amazing quality sound to a large environment, and works pretty great on low volume.
If you're starting out with a guitar and need a cheap option for an amp, this product is worth the money.

SmoothieGirl: Like everyone says, it puts out a lot of sound for a small "lunchbox" size amp. The amp has controls for treble, midlevel and bass, also an overdrive/distortion button and dial for the level of distortion you want. I have a modeling amp and wanted something with a "clean" sound. I have two guitars l like to practice with, and to avoid having to unplug cables I got the Sawtooth as a second practice amp. It did not make sense to just get an A-B pedal or mixer to change from using one guitar to the other guitar, since this was an inexpensive alternative, it had good reviews and now I have two practice amps instead of just an A-B switch. The only thing is that the normal/clean mode still has some "delay or reverb sound." I tried it with two different guitars one with 3 single coil pickups and the other with dual humbuckers. The "reverb" seems more pronounced with the single coil guitar, so I use the Sawtooth with the dual humbucker guitar. I am practicing "country" types songs, so I don't need need a lot of distortion and I am still messing around with the tone controls to get the right sound. Seems like a good and very small/portable amp.
