AriannaArianna: Batteria originale arrivata nella sua scatola, ottimo come sempre l'imballaggio e spedizione, per la durata da valutare nel tempo (forse non di recente produzione, arrivata che segnava 6.3volt, messa in carica dopo circa 5 ore si è caricata bene), confido nella qualità Irobot.

Eveline S.: Nach 4 Jahren hat der Akku von meinem Robot den Geist aufgegeben, auch weil ich ihn ständig am Strom hatte.
Mit dem neuen Akku läuft mein Roobot wieder super. Jetzt lasse ich ihn nur für ca. 5 Stunden aufladen und nehme ihn dann vom Strom, in der Hoffnung, dass der Akku dann länger hält.

Marykrp: This is exactly what my Roomba needed and I didn’t even know that was the problem!

But this battery is great, and was not all that expensive, it seemed worth the risk so I bought it I tried it and I can’t believe it! It holds a charge forever, it does my entire one bedroom apartment on one charge!

I totally stopped using my Roomba because for too many years the charge would die too quickly and I figured it was getting old (20 yrs!). So after becoming somewhat disenchanted with it, I just stopped using it about four years ago.

Then I was about to get rid of it recently when I thought maybe it just needs a new battery (duh) but I figured the battery would be ridiculously expensive-only to find out the battery wasn’t the problem.

But not only did it need a new battery I guess it needed a new battery 10 years ago too lol

Game changer -I forgot how exciting it is to have a Roomba, my floors have never been cleaner.
Also really glad I wrist going with the brand name!

sharon: bottom line: Does seem to last longer during charges, but who knows lol. Super easy - just like a computer battery, unscrew 2 screws, pop out old batter, pop in new one and all good! My Roomb 880 was dead, would NOT charge, now works like new. Again, just like a new computer battery.

Details: Bought my roomba in 2015, a year plus later wouldn't charge, called their support - no longer under warranty, they tried a few things over the phone quickly and told me my only option was to buy a new roomba. I intended to take to a vacuum fixer, stored it and never bothered. Decided during a clean up/clear out to replace the battery since that should have been obvious and voila, this works perfectly. As before,I like the roomba for keeping the house less dusty between vacuuming and this is working perfectly again - imo does reduce inside allergies and with 3 pets, super helpful.

IRobot IMO customer service WAS terrible but at least replacement battery is now available even if pricey, around $100 well worth the price, overall IMO well made product

PerlmanPerlman: Sexta batería en nueve años para nuestro Roomba 560, tras cuatro de Ni MH, dos originales de 3000 mA y dos no originales de 3500 y 4500 mA, y una prueba con batería de Litio de 4500 mA. las dos últimas no han llegado a 9 meses.

Las baterías de Ni MH tiene siempre una vida limitada por 1) mal diseño, 2) deficiente sistema de carga y 3) autodescarga inevitable en Ni-MH.

DISEÑO. La batería de Ni MH de Roomba de 14,4 voltios son doce pilas recargables tipo 'C' de 1,2 voltios conectadas en serie (FOTO 1) dando un total de 1,2 v x 12 = 14,4 v nominales en la mayor parte de la zona de trabajo, entre el 80-20% de capacidad (FOTO 2) Cada pila cargada a tope está sobre los 1,4 v (el total de las 12 es sobre 17 v) y al final el voltaje cae (FOTO 2), de forma que Roomba busca la base cuando la batería está sobre 12 v, parando por debajo de ese valor, siendo los voltajes los que determinan los colores de verde, ámbar a naranja y rojo. Al estar en serie la capacidad (energía) de la batería completa es la de cada pila individual, 3000 mAh en este caso, que implica unas 2:40 minutos, dado que Roomba consume sobre una intensidad de unos 1150 mA, que hace esa duración...

Skyeisle: It's really not a true "review" on something like this if written right after placing in service but here goes. "Robert" my iRobot Roomba was pretty much dead and when he passed he passed fast. Looking back I saw evidence of his failing. He didn't want to leave home long, didn't have much zest for life and would poop out early in the party. Finally he would leave his house (dock) crawl forward a foot or two then faint crying "charge me!." He had been with me maybe 2 1/2 years and danced for me daily save on Tuesdays - his day off. It was true love from the beginning as far as I was concerned. I called up his birth mom to make sure my diagnosis of a fainting heart was correct. Very helpful. Before buying, I went on line with Amazon to compare prices for heart (battery) replacements against those of his birth mother. I found his bm sold on both sites but priced lower on the big A site by about ten bucks. I also found they offered replacements for Robert's original heart plus a new extended life version. I bought the extended version. Honestly, Robert's worth every penny and more! I did surgery on the kitchen counter. It was easy peasy even for an old lady with arthritic appendages....
