Evan Johnson: I tossed this in my 08 silverado for gits and shiggles and it has every benefit you look for in a girlfriend. Fast cheap and easy. In 15 minutes I had it working and in 45 minutes I had my 3 tools put away and the dash panels squared up real nice. It fits perfectly under the panels it took longer to line the steering column panels up correctly then find where the wires needed to go. Panel pry included and it's beefy. Uv rated zipties and next to retard proof instructions if you have half an ounce of mechanical aptitude. 10 out of 5 stars out of the box

Amazon Customer: VERY easy to install. Works exactly like it says is does. The ONLY complaint I have is that the trim pieces around the steering column don’t fit back together all the way. But that is to be somewhat expected when you are adding extra wiring.

Amazon Customer: Super easy to install and works great. The only troubles I had putting it in was with the truck it's self one off my wiring harnesses was horrible getting out. But not the products fault. 10/10 would suggest

Satisfied: Installed on a 2012 silverado in approximately 15 mins. Easy to follow instructions. Litterally plug and play with minimal tools (nut driver and small screwdriver) required. Easy programming which consists of turning the ignition to on for approximately 3 seconds then to off. Remove key and you’re good to go. Range is the same as your factory remote.

Fisherguy: Price has gone up since I bought this, I must've got a 'Black Friday' price.
Once I removed the steering column cover I had the connections made and had the starter working in a few minutes. (hooray)
Getting the steering column covers back on was a bit of a chore having never had it apart before. If I was doing it again I'd take some time to make sure I knew how to get it together before I added the extra wiring for this starter. Not sure if the extra wiring got in the way or what but I probly spent an hour trying to get the covers back on.
Other than that it works great!
I contacted Start-X tech support 3 times asking about the bag of parts labelled "FOR PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS" and never did get any kind of instructions from 'Frank', they were of no help at all and Frank seemed a bit arrogant. This really left a bad tastes in my mouth regarding Start-X!
