Crannman: I bought one about 2 years ago.....it was very difficult to program properly...I finally got it to work correctly......it eventually quit working after 2 years of service
I went to my order history to find the part number, (I was originally going to reprogram the one I had, all I needed was the part number) and then I found this one, and noticed that it is now "self-programming"......
The price was right, so I ordered a new one.
It arrived and I immediately replaced the old module....It programmed itself once I turned on the key. Now my A/C works perfectly.

Dan: Shipped mine off to have it repaired, it came back after a week or so and the lights went out in a few hours.

Purchased this one on Amazon and it’s been working for more that 2 months. Only cot $10 or $15 than shipping my old one off for a repair. Also replaced my heater resistor to fix the blower speeds 1-4 not working, only 5 was working on the old and new control module. Which I initially thought was the control module. It was a different part “heater resistor kit” that was causing that problem.

CLKCLK: So I bought this to replace the original one in my ‘06 Chevy Silverado because the lights were all burning out or the solder was falling apart. It was super easy to install and fits great BUT as you can see in the pictures between this one and the original one I’m holding, the temperature controls are wrong. So now if I want heat, I have to have the switches on cold!

JPrice: I love how quiet this is! I've had several other air purifiers and they are all so loud! This one is not! Also they customer service is great! As soon as I registered my product they reached out to me and sent out a replacement filter, asked how I like my unit, asked if there is anything they can do to help me with etc.

Mechanic Colin: I was just like you once. Cruising Amazon, wanting to make my truck a little nicer. Have a fancy new, every light working, HVAC module. I too stumbled across this unit, read some not so great reviews, but overall seemed like it was only some bad units, not all of them.

Mine would be fine. Right?

Wrong.

Right out of the box, unit was great! Fit and finish were terrific. All the lights work! The buttons weren’t all worn. Really jazzed up the interior!

But after a couple months, weird things started happening. Gauges would randomly quit while driving. Headlights would randomly quit working. The A/C would quit. The radio would stop. Dash lights would come and go like they were in a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert. Windows wouldn’t roll up or down. The truck would get stuck in anti theft mode at the weirdest (and worst) times. The issues became so bad the truck was unreliable and not even driveable.

Dang 17 year old truck is on going on fritz!
