Edward Little: This kit is supposed to be able to service systems with 134a refrigerant which uses quick couplers to service the system. The quick couplers should be includes in this kit. With out the quick couplers the kit is useless!!!

Max Headroom: Item claims to work with R134 Quick Release hose connections. It does not! Connection for this needs another purchase for the quick connect valves. Misleading at most. The first paragraph needs editing. But, the adaptor kit does come with piercing valve and Shraeder valve swap tool. Just sayin. Pump is decent quality while gauges are so so. Good luck!

louis b.: As mentioned in another review the Adapters for Ductless Split System have a pretty significant short coming. The thread that attaches to the mini split port is about 1/4" longer than a typical adapter. The result is that it takes a whole lot more turns to remove the adapter, and the result is a lot of gas being dumped from the system. Not good. After experiencing this I purchased a new adapter from Pioneer and thur the two that came with the kit in the trash. Otherwise, I am happy with the purchase.
