Amazon Customer: Don't buy the $15 gauges on Amazon as they don't work with the self-healing (which is what you want) refrigerant cans. This one works with both. The canisters screw in opposite normal, and work perfect. I was able to top off the levels in my 2016 Honda Civic in about 5 minutes.

Robin B.Robin B.: Negative star on whoever put a second-hand sticker on the back of this box. Basically, you blocked the instruction with your sticker. Awesome job. Also, you have to turn it counter-clockwise otherwise, it won't fit. I also had a super hard time putting the can since the sticker was blocking the instruction. Pretty easy to use but you really have to read the manual first which is what my picture is shown. Also make sure you turn your engine on with a full blast of AC then read the level.

Drew: I am not normally one to leave negative reviews, but I bought this tool to get a job done and a deadline, went to do the job, and it failed me 100%. The yellow hose, which would normally connect to a vacuum pump or a refrigerant can connector is reverse threaded for a large can of r1234yf with a valve on it. There is no adapter for a vacuum pump OR connecting to a small r1234yf can. These are a must for the vast majority of the people who would buy this. And for the Price of this, and the price of the nine dollar parts I had to order and wait two more days to do my job, you would think they can just add a little bit to the price of the kit and included. Very disappointed this screwed up a very important job for me

Slowrider5: All my other AC pro gauges have a dial to adjust reading based on outdoor temperature. This one does not and it negatively impacts performance. My AC stopped working and this gauge still reads in the green (on the low end). But if I compare psi reading with what older AC Pro gauges would read based on outdoor temperature adjustment, it would have been in the low range. I added 2/3 of an 8oz can and now I’m good to go.

Avid Amazon BuyerAvid Amazon Buyer: The gauges look nice and work fine. I also ordered a piercing valve. When I got both in my hands I knew I was in for some learning pains. The yellow hose to connect to the refrigerant canister is 1/2" LH ACME thread. This may work with 10 pound tanks of refrigerant, but is a big problem when trying to connect to the self sealing can. For this you need a piercing valve, and the only ones I have found have an outlet that is 1/4" FLR (so it require a flare connection). These 2 things do not go together in any way that I could think of short of cutting the hose and using a barbed fitting (which works but you also need to flare tubing and make up some brass fittings).

So, InterDynamics, I have a request. Just add an adapter in the box. It probably only costs $10 more and sure does make this learning curve less painful.

Mike Stirton: Simple answer. Gauge hose uses left hand thread, while the can (recommended by Amazon) is RIGHT HAND thread.

I am not impressed and simply giving a low score based on how unimpressed I am with Amazon.

Colin Genge: Left handed threads and the 1234YF cans are all right handed or NORMAL threads. GOOD FOR NOTHING. Dont waste your money.
