Kim Crosser: I have tried other insoles, but this one actually fit my shoes without trimming and provides good arch support while being sufficiently padded to avoid pain. I can wear these for hours in my shoes.
Also - even after wearing them for weeks, I do not detect any odor clinging to these insoles.

Catharine: These fit true to size and ordered them for support with rubber boots. They are supportive and comfortable and allow me to walk long distances without my feet hurting.

Nightmare: I have bought several pair of these and am very pleased. Not sure if they are comparable to the Power Steps my podiatrist recommends (over priced in my opinion), but they seem to fit the same and accomplish the same thing -- they keep the plantar fasciitis away and provide good arch support to correct for any flattening of the arch. This in turn, helps keep away any back pain from not walking correctly. I don't know what makes these things so expensive based on the materials they are made of, but with this brand I can buy 3 for the price of one of the Power Step insoles -- so I can keep them in the shoes I wear most often and not keep taking them in and out. Do they last as long? Don't know, but so far seem they seem to be holding up just fine -- would be interesting if someone logs steps and can answer that? Anyhow, 5 stars.

Holly J Stewart: These are fitted to your shoe size so they stay in the shoe snuggly and do not move around like other insoles. They offer good arch support and have a cushioned cup for the heel which also helps with pain from my heel spurs. I replace mine about every 5-8 months depending on how often I wear those particular shoes. Unfortunately you may need to get some shoes 1/2 size larger to accommodate the insert, depending on the size of the toe cup, otherwise you may get some rubbing on the top of your toes. I have found this usually goes away within one or 2 wearing with leather and canvas shoes as I break in the new inserts. Added side benefit - they increase the length of time your shoes feel great because you are consistently changing the insert. The sole of my hushpuppies literally fell apart while I was wearing them but I did not notice at first because the insert did it's job.

Myrthedd: These are good orthotics for the price, however I might have expected a bit too much from them, based on the other reviews I read. They are of good quality and the support is good, but I found that pain was worse after wearing them all day, the arch support seems to be too high and it ended up hurting, (especially on my right foot, where my arch is lower). I think they might work well for certain people, but it's either hit or miss.

Maicreya Simbre: It feels a bit hard once you get them (2 insoles), so you have to break it in.
After 2 days, it’ll feel soft on your feet. Make sure to take off the original insoles in your shoe before using them, it’s thick, so your shoe might feel a little tight. Used them both in shoes and boots, it doesn’t hurt my flat feet anymore. Would recommend!

erika: I have had chronic pain in my left foot for many years, the result of congenital pes planus (flatfoot) that three surgeries have not entirely cured. Over the years I have used a variety of orthotics, both prescription (custom-made) and over-the-counter, to try to minimize the residual pain. I’ve been having a bad spell with my foot these last few weeks which is what prompted me to try the Forcare brand. So far I would say they compare very favorably with everything I’ve used in the past. While they have not completely eliminated the pain (nothing has) they are giving me a level of relief better than any of the other orthotics in my current collection – including the custom-fitted ones. One thing I really like about these is that there is a seamless transition between the harder plastic that forms the arch support and the softer plastic up front. Not sure how they achieve this but it eliminates the hard front edge of the arch support that can be counter-productive to the overall goal of eliminating pain. Of course, the entire orthotic has a foam layer on top of the plastic to provide proper cushioning to the foot, and a fabric layer on top of that. In summary I would say they...

Kindle Customer: The yellow ones don’t fit and feel as good as the old black and blue that I have. These are lower and softer in arch support area.
