Pros:
-cheaper than other alternatives, some are charging 100+, ridiculous for a few panels of metal
-looks like a decent brand
-medium wide 130 inches, 12 ft 10 inches, not bad, I mainly bought it to block off kitchen so my infant doesn't crawl in
-not too hard to install, simple mechanism to loosen and tighhten bars

cons:
-construction is not bad, borderline flimsy/good enough, once my kid reaches 2-3 years old this is not going to contain him, left and right is more sturdy due to the more firm fastening of the wall mounts, middle is a little on the flimsy side, but then again my left and right side is double panels, two legs better than one

KadeeKadee: We wanted something to protect our soon to be crawler from the wood stove this winter. We have an odd shaped space and previous reviews showed this might work.
The first package we received was broken, but a replacement came within a couple of days.
There were too many panels (it was too big for our space) so we wanted to take a couple out. However, the way the panels are designed, means you have to take 2 panels out from each side of the gate OR a panel from the end.
Think of it like putting tent poles together..A goes into B goes into C, etc. These panels would be like panel A goes into B and that goes back into panel A. Therefore, you can’t take out panel B because 2-A panels won’t fit together. Okay…so..we took out a panel from each end.

Well…that means the connector piece to the wall does not have a pole for them to go into because it’s a different panel.
Thankfully my husband is very handy and was able to pull apart the panel we took off and piece it together for the panel we did need which would attach to the wall.
Phew…long worded I know.
Now that the structure is up and around our wood stove, I’m confident that our little one will be...

InnocentBystanderInnocentBystander: We moved into my mothers split level home last weekend, and while our existing plastic Evenflo play yard was long enough to handle the shape of her living room (which we promptly took over), it was clunky and crooked and wobbly. I actually love that play yard/gate and We’ve had it for months and months, and fully intend to keep it, but my mother wanted something a little less visible and I wanted something sturdier and easier to maneuver over. We had been finding ourselves hurdling over the gate 9,000 times a day, and my moms got a bad hip so ... time to look for something else. I found this gate pretty quickly and it had such good reviews and was such a decent price that I threw it on the cart and had it two days later. I installed it myself in about 20 minutes, between adjusting and screwing and rearranging and whatnot. I’m 16 weeks pregnant w another and I found this gate to be easy to set up despite its possible long length.

The way our couches align w a wall allowed me to sort of tension-support One side of the gate and avoid drilling more holes into my mothers walls. The other side of the gate is screwed in but only one screw for each bracket. It’s kind of...
