Donna: Easy to install and decent fabric - only complaints is that the greige colored cardboard base that has the adhesive strip on it shows when installed. Manufacturer should have used a white board or plastic. Also, shade was shipped with no protective wrapping inside a regular brown corrugated box. Kind of a miracle my white shade didn’t arrive stained or dirty - esp. since packages on delivery trucks almost always arrive absolutely full of dust and filth.

Jacqueline F.Jacqueline F.: The shade is great, I have been wanting to put something up since I moved a year ago, however, I did not want to spend a hundred dollars and have an installer, when I saw this I said I will give it a try. I am not at all handy so I thought I might mess it up, not really. So many people talked about the cutting I had no problem. make sure you have it exactly in the right place, before removing the adhesive strip. I should have been about 1/8 of an inch to the right but it's not that noticeable. People talked about the adhesive not holding so since it is out of view I put a couple of tacks in it so I would not have a problem. It has been up a couple of weeks no problem.

DL: I like the blind my only complaint is after I installed the blind, the next morning one side separated from the strip that was attached to the trim. I had to use glue in order to keep it from separating. It also happens to the other side as well, so I glued it as well. The last few days it seems to be staying together.

Tom: The shade is well made, and cutting it to fit my window is interesting, not easy, and I don't think it's possible to get it done alone. However, the adhesive is weak, and I had to use a few moulding nails to hold it in place. Hope the next version will get better.

K Quigley: Once you deal with the issues to get it installed you will likely be good. It's a decent product. My experience seems to be common with many others writing reviews. The adhesive connecting the honeycomb shade to the strip that connects to your frame is incredible poor. It came off so easy, I almost thought they forgot to glue it, but it was just poorly made. The good news is you can fix that yourself with thumbtacks, glue, whatever.
Again, decent overall product, but for this price they should be able to build it a little better. Impossible to give 4 or 5 rating with such lazy construction.

Amazon Customer: As other reviews have said, once installed it looks great and cuts out the sun just fine. But then the next day the adhesive had given out and was constantly furling itself back up. Cutting it is also SUPER hard. I had to get a saw knife to cut the thing and even with that it was no easy task. If you feel like you can get the adhesive to stick and are fine with sawing through the shade, then I can recommend this, otherwise I'd look for something else.

DEREK P: We have a circular window at the top of our office with the sun shining in very strong in the afternoon. We had the cheaper paper shade before and it just never looked very good. Custom made "real" blinds were going to be several hundred dollars so we decided to give this a try and cut our losses if it didn't work out.

This cellular shade is all we need. From the outside it's impossible to tell it isn't a real cellular shade and inside is close enough.

Cons are that it's not as easy to cut as they make it look and you have to be *very* careful - a slight deviation from perfectly straight on the cut will be much more noticeable once you expand it. It's also more difficult to install than the video looks and I had to move it around quite a bit to get the accordion effect to look even but, once it's done, you never have to touch it again. I considered only giving 4 stars because of this but, for the price, I still think it justifies 5.

The only time I wouldn't recommend this is if you're installing it in the main part of your house (our's was in a side office) and are very picky about appearances as it's going to be tough to get that cut...
