Easy to use and nice and fast. Could do with coming with some back legs - £50 for a little plastic stand extra is a bit much!

Noel: I use this scanner at work. Most of my scans are of the end of day accounting which are emailed to our head office.

This machine allows me to put in all different sizes. Eg A4 balance sheet along with all the card machine slips. It will scan them all at the same time, both sides if needed but it works that out for itself, it will them email them all as 1 file or separate files all with the press of a button.

This scanner has saved me 30 minutes a day so will basically pay for itself in weeks and therefore it makes this scanner one of the cheapest on the market.

A nice feature is the ability to edit the PDF documents so if you forget a PO number you can enter it on the PDF scan. It is a small but important feature for me.

Martin D: Looking to update my current scanner (ScanSnap iX500) which I have had for a number of years, but instead of staying with the same manufacturer, I went with an alternative which I have heard good things about.

The Raven Pro Document Scanner is a very different scanner and so far has surpassed my expectations.

Easy to set up.
Wifi (2GHz and 5GHz) + Wired.
large Control panel with an easy-to-follow interface.
Not so bulky Software to install.
Good quality Scans.
Easy to configure the destination of scans (cloud + local)

I could go on all day with the Pros the only downside is you can't fold it closed which is not a problem for me really for such a good scanner.

Marcos Eduardo Velázquez Hernández: Lo compre para una pequeña oficina que tengo montada en casa, el volumen de escaneos no debe de ser menor de 500 hojas por semana, aunque en ocasiones puede que supere las 1,000 y hasta la fecha sin problemas (llevo aproximadamente un mes con el). Ha resultado bastante facil e intuitivo para todo mi equipo de trabajo usarlo. El servicio de nube es excelnte y me permite clasificar y ordenar todos mis archivos, definitivamnte una compra que recomiendo bastante, optimizó mucho mis tiempos de escaneado, anteriormente tardaba hasta 30 minutos haciendo lo que con este escaner puedo hacer en 2. Si requieres escanear una gran cantidad de hojas esta es una muy buena elección

Roobop: I was starting to run out of storage space for my paperwork at home, so after doing some research I decided to buy this scanner as it seemed to meet my needs due to the fact that I no longer have a home computer. It is an absolute god send. I am not very savy when it comes to tech but it was easy to set up, and I very quickly completed my first task of scanning all my old statements. I am using the free raven cloud for storage and it was very easy to create and name folders. I have not used all the functions of the scanner yet, but so far it has been very easy to navigate.
I will be working my way through the rest of household paperwork this week and look forward to have a lot less paperwork filed in my cabinet.

B C R: Until I purchased the Raven Pro for our small (25 employee) business, I was a cheerleader of Fujitsu Scan Snap printers.  In our particular use-case, we have quite a few people who need to scan small volumes of documents.  It's really not practical to have a scanner for everyone.  The Fujitsu Scan Snap, while a great piece of equipment, is really not very conducive to sharing.  We have moved that Fujitsu around to so many different desks and had cords going all over the place over the past few years.  

When searching for an extra Fujitsu, I came across the Raven Pro.  Reading the product description, it seemed a bit too good to be true.  I believe it was marginally more expensive than a Scan Snap but it seemed to offer so much more in functionality.  I was a bit nervous at first, getting from a company I had never heard from.  Let me tell you: I am so happy that I did and I'm not looking back.  

Sharing and Flexibility - As they advertise, this thing works right out of the box with no computer.  You can scan to Google Drive (G Suite works, not just personal), to an email address, a USB drive, TWAIN, you name...

James Astro: I have a home office that has been fully digitized. I scan everything, and keep almost no paper documents. Over the years I have scanned more than 6000 documents, and they are stored as searchable PDF files on my MacBook Pro. I used to have 3 filing cabinets full of papers. Now I have just a handful of paper originals that fit into 1/3 of a cabinet. If you haven't started scanning your documents yet, then you should start now. It'll completely change the way you manage documents.

Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500

I started with the ScanSnap iX500 several years ago. It was a great scanner back when I first purchased it. It was fast, accurate, and quiet. Unfortunately the iX500 software has become less reliable over time. Each time there was a new Mac OS update, I had to download the latest iX500 drivers, reinstall them, and fix compatibility problems. Then last Spring (2019), the iX500 required completely new software called ScanSnap Home. I didn't like the new user interface, and it had some annoying bugs, but I managed to tolerate it...
