Christoph A Reichmann: Unable to contact Raven support as the company has shut down but is still selling products through amazon.
My scanner screen went black after using it for just over 4 weeks, since then I have tried contacting Amazon and Raven but had no response.

Trudy Williams: Easy to use and set up, I would recommend this scanner

Smartlet Estates: This printer ruins the paper, leave black marks on paper, scans crooked, is slow, freezes, and auto detect doesn't work!

Requesting full refund!

SiebrenSiebren: I was looking for a Mac compatible scanner with standalone capabilities, with direct upload to cloud destinations. Read a view reviews and took the gamble, had to order it through Amazon Uk because it was not available yet in Europe. It turned out very good, fast and reliable. After a few weeks Raven contacted me by phone (!) to ask me if i was satisfied. And I am! She explained (in an e-mail) how to make groups to directly scan to different folders within a cloud-destination.

Totalmente recomendable

Net ProphetNet Prophet: Don’t just look at the star rating and move on; my review is for a very specific use case. If your use case is different, your experience may be very different.
I scan and retain a lot of sensitive financial information and personal details. I love the cloud for many functions but storing my finances and personal information isn’t one of them. Even if I trusted the cloud companies to not use or sell my information (I don’t), I don’t trust that the cloud providers will employ 100% perfect, never ever defeated security measures to ensure they are never ever hacked. I don’t care what you hear them say, when they make a cloud that is easily accessed via personal computer interface, they’re making an easy-to-follow path that will, at some point, have a software flaw and get hacked. I’m not saying I can do any better; in fact, I probably cannot. But I’m also a single user, not a giant juicy target filled with millions of users’ personal data, and the hackers will have to come get me as an individual. I suspect I’m not worth the effort.
I bought a Fujitsu S1500 ScanSnap about 10 years ago and went almost completely paperless. I’ve about worn that scanner out...

Kimberley M: I was a little confused at first, because I thought you had to use the Raven Cloud for all your scanning, but you DON'T. It's not a big deal if you don't mind having your stuff online. Raven Cloud access is unlimited and FREE. I'm just kind of paranoid.

To do everything local, you download Raven Desktop (from the raven website), then use the "printer cable" looking cord that has kind of a square-ish end that goes into your scanner, and a USB-A connection on the other end that you plug into your computer. (NOTE: on my Raven scanner, the square-ish port you want to plug this cord into on the back of the scanner had a sticker over it that said, "Not Required"...which is a little misleading, because you CAN still use that port, you just don't have to if you don't mind scanning into the Raven Cloud) Once you attach the scanner to your computer via USB, Raven Desktop will automagically load up the correct drivers for you, then you can get started! If you want to keep things local, you'll just want to designate a folder on your computer where you would like your scans stored, and then be sure to pick that folder as the ONLY destination when you scan.

It's really cool, too,...
