Chuck: In part I appreciate a great story. Second as of this story I am a fan and will continue to be going into the next story. Rachel Hatch, although a troubled character has proven time and again why she is the hero we all wish was there when we need a hero to rise. This is why I will continue to be a fan.

Lynn L.: I love this series and can't wait for number nine. I liked how Hatch's personal life has come with a twist, none of us are perfect. I enjoyed the book, good story line that held me to the end, I just had to carry on till I had finished it. My only tiny criticism is that I would have liked more action, more of Hatch's dogged determination to come through. That said I really want to see her with Savage in the end. They make an unstoppable team.

Kindle Customer: I liked the fast pace and the various locales gave the story a great sense of place. Each character plays their part consistently, but as the series progresses so each person grows and changes with their experiences. I highly recommend the whole Rachel Hatch series.

Avid Reader: This is another quick read. Couldn’t put it down after I started today. Hatch volunteers to find her commander’s niece, who has mysteriously disappeared from a cult bastion. When she meets the Shepherd, the leader of the cult, she is torn whether he is guilty or not. Along the way, a previous lover (a cop) also becomes involved in the search, but he is looking for a serial killer. No hints here. ENJOY!
