SCJ: Morgan has been out of work for some time after the death of her husband. Just as she’s about to start a new job, as a Prosecutor, she finds herself defending a friend she’s convinced is innocent. Morgan needs help as all signs point to her friend, so she reaches out to Lance, a PI friend. As they both work on this case, more and more things come to light, one being their attraction to each other. So, I figured this one out pretty early but it was still very good. Appreciated all the additional things going on that may or may not pertain to the case. Very good read..very entertaining

Al_ D: Morgan is a great heroine as you'd expect from this author. Not sure why I prefer bree taggert but there you go, would still recommend. Nice and pacy with good character relationships and not too much horror

When a neighbour she has known for years is charged with the heinous crime Dane can't stand back and let an innocent man to to jail.

This is a fantastic page turner that keeps you guessing til the end.

I've read all of this author's Bree Taggert series and I'm now looking forward to reading the rest of this brilliant series.
