Erika: I didn’t enjoy this installment as much as the previous two books, but it was pretty good. The suspense kept me on edge. The storyline kept building into something crazier. The bad guys were right there in plain sight and I completely missed it. The big reveal at the end surprised me. I would’ve never looked in that direction. Of course Bree figured it out with her brilliant mind. I enjoyed the mentions of Lance and Morgan from the Morgan Dane book series. Matt and Bree have been through so much. I can’t see how they have any fight left to keep this series going. I’m really interested in what will come in the next book.

Charlene Dawson: Another great book by Melinda Leigh. I was drawn in early and this book had me in a chokehold until the end. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

miss elaine m worby: This book is full of suspense, intrigue, twists and turns. It is compelling reading and had me totally hooked from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. The ending was a really interesting twist and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

christine: This is hands down one of the best detective/cop murder mystery thriller. The characters are fresh real and raw and the softer side is simple they that family ,friends , and their community very seriously and do what every it takes to protect them. I never see who the killer is until its been released by the sheriff, that's why this series is so bad ass. I highly recommend .

Gordon Williams: Melinda Leigh has the knack of combining cosy and heart warming details of family life with the raw aggression of violent crime, to make a joint up drama which draws you in at several levels. Certainly a page turner guaranteeing a good read. Dropped a star because maybe the fashion for multiple near death experiences of lead characters is beginning to get a little over used.
