Kay Barker: I had a knee replacement (actually it was my second replacement) and my son doesn’t feel very comfortable using the stove so I bought this electric skillet and I’ve used it a lot and my son loves cooking with it, so we are all happy campers. Especially since he has been doing the majority of cooking. Anyway, we love the skillet.

Shayne: The temperature control dial gets insanely hot, I mean hot to the point of not being able to adjust the dial once cooking. I thought it was weird and about 6 months in and only 15 or so uses, the plug started to make a crackling sound. Luckily Amazon honoured a return. Presto would not honour a return because it was shipped from the USA. Do not recommend unless you have home owners insurance and a hankering for large brush fires

Trevor Morrison: Works great, much more even heat than our old black and decker. Very happy. It’s big so great for cooking but a little awkward to fit in the sink for cleaning.

BL: Heats evenly, cooks nicely and easy to clean.
The griddle that I received was missing two of the screws that attach the handles. I called Presto, and was told that they can't help Canadian customers. Zero customer service!, but as stated above, a nice griddle.
Recommend griddle, but beware if you need customer service.

lindelewis: I am very pleased with this appliance so far. It was purchased to replace a much older 11" square electric skillet in which the Teflon finish was no longer non-stick.This skillet is 12"x16" which makes it easier to manipulate the items being prepared. It is a joy to work with as there is plenty of room and no crowding of food items. The lid fits well but needs a little extra care because it is glass. The body of the skillet is quite heavy duty and, despite its size, is not that difficult to wash. It has nice snug handles and, surprisingly, rubber feet for non-skid use. It would work well as a buffet server, too. Well designed.
