Janelle Heebner: This is a great lame. I make about 20 loaves of sourdough per week and this little guy comes in quite handy...pun intended :-). I use one end of each blade roughly 15-20 before flipping it over or switching out.
My only complaint is I have to buy a whole new set when I run out of blades. I can't find them sold separately. Still not a bad deal though.

Amazon Customer: If you are into bread baking this tool will make your bread look better and taste better. It’s also safer than using a razor blade on its own. I like that it came with instructions, extra blades and a leather sheath to store it between uses. I wish I had this tool years ago.

Neonscience: Really love this tool for my sourdough. It’s super sharp! I gave it a four because it was terrifying trying to get it into the blade holder, haha!
