Bill a la Kill: Nice little camera. I can’t use the ones that use cellular service since I am out of area, so this one with built in screen is a necessity. Camera has nice specifications with good quality capture. Only glitch I have seen is that batteries fit so tightly that sometimes they don’t slide to the +/- contacts. If you give them a push to the positive terminal, the negative side with spring takes up the gap and all is well. They honor the 2year warranty with few questions asked.

nathanaelnathanael: So I am Very happy with the Trail camera. I Purchased Two of them to give them a try and I plan on getting more. The setup is easy to do and understand. It has a lot of great settings. You can set how many pictures it takes you can set the length of the video it takes. you can have it take a picture and a video and more. You can change the Triger sensitivity and the IR light settings. It has some other modes i have not messed with.
If the animal is moving fast at night it is a little blurred but besides that it works great. other trail cameras I have had usually got the butt end of the animal. This cam seems to get them nicely centered in the picture. In video mode the video and Audio are great. I love being able to hear the animals walk or make sounds.
The Cameras also have a 12 volt input. I have not used it yet but I want to in the future to set up some long video recordings and not drain a bunch of double a batteries.
The strap that comes with it is really nice to mount it. It is nice and long to get around even the chubbiest of trees. over all I like this camera and plan on getting more. I may try the next model up to see what it is like but I don't know if the extra...

E. Burke: I own 5 different brands of trailcams but the Alphacam Premium 30 MP camera is my best one. Excellent video quality, fast speed, and it doesn't eat up batteries. I haven't had any issues with it. Liked the first one I bought so much, I bought another. Can't get a better recommendation than that.

Atef Marzouki: hardware is 5/5 but software 1/5..
it's not following the video length config..
first 2-3 videos are 60 seconds, then everything goes back to 20 seconds default for the rest of the night.

not sure what happened yet, but last night, camera also failed to take 'videos only'..
and suddently switched to 'pictures only' so I was left with not much to look at :/

otherwise, video/picture/motion detection is pretty awesome...
I hope i just have a defective unit.

Fred S.: I just received my new Alpha Cam Premium. I have purchased different brand name trail cameras in the past and I'm finding this one to be a very good one so far. I haven't had the chance to look at the night vision but photos and video are excellent....so far.
There are only 3 things that come to mind....
1. There was no tri pod socket connector included. I know it said it wasn't included but I was hopeful it might come but no big deal really. All my other cameras had one included.
2. There was no separating battery plate door to protect the display screen and the batteries itself. I think over time the display screen will wear and possible get scratched. And I'm hoping that the batteries will still be tightly together once the camera door is closed.
3. And I finally found a camera that has a side lockable slot and can accomodate a 3/8" python lock cable in the back of the camera. Beggars can't be choosers but I would have liked the holes to be in the upper area not the lower part of the camera.

old_man: I have at least 10 cameras currently deployed on our property. Bushnell, Moultrie, Wildgame, Browning_ and some off the peg cheap-oh stuff from the local hardware store. This is by far the best camera of the bunch. I am totally impressed. I put this one up in a situation with less than ideal lighting where the tree cover is heavy and when light gets in it tends to stream into a spot and not light the whole area. The pictures from this cam beat out everything else I have tried in that spot. Excellent day or night shots. I'll be ordering some more to replace some of the duds like my latest moultrie mistake. As far as the trigger this cam has taken 3X the pictures captured by other cams in the same spot. I suppose that means it trigger is better since I am not seeing any "blank" shots to speak of. I have no clue on the battery life yet because I only recently deployed it. It might be good but I just don't know yet.

I have so time now on these cameras. By far these outperform every other camera I have purchased in this price class. Battery life on this is outstanding. They continue to surprise me outlatesting other cams. One tiny issue. I have not been able to use 64g cards. 32...

Kevin VD: Did some research before purchase. Youtube is great for providing reviews. Plenty of options out there. I purchased this camera to use for Wildlife observations and to track animals. What attracted me to this camera is the video quality (day/night). Overall this is a quality product. Well made. A lot of thought has gone into producing this. The price point is fair for what you get. Night vision has crisp images and the sensor does not miss a step. Thank you Alpha cam.

Paul W.: I wanted a trail cam to monitor deer on my property before setting up a blind. I initially purchased a Coolife trail camera primarily based on their claim of 115’ detection distance but I found it was much less than that. It wouldn’t detect at 60’ in daylight or 40’ at night with the sensitivity set on high. I returned the Coolife and purchased the Alpha Cam premium. The Alpha Cam detected and captured images at 65’ (furthest I measured) in daylight in auto sensitivity mode but also detected much further out. At night it detected me at 65’ (long range flash mode). I haven’t tried the video mode but the photo image quality is very good viewed on my PC or tablet. The camera has a fast turnaround speed adjustable down to 1 s. Another nice feature is the auto sensitivity setting for the PIR motion sensor in addition to low, normal and high. Presumably in auto sensitivity the level is determined by the temp. The latch mechanism closes the unit tightly. The directions in the user manual are brief but adequate.

There were a few minor negative issues with the Alpha Cam for me. The font for date and time displayed on the built-in viewer is a burnt orange color and...
