J. Hartman:
I have flat feet and have always worn custom orthotics in my street shoes. I wanted to try a softer set of inserts that didn’t squeak in my shoes and still left room for my forefoot. I saw these and gave them a try. I have the full length version of this in my running shoes so I was already familiar with these.
I’ve been wearing them for a week or so now and am very pleased with how comfortable they are. They stay in place and don’t slide forward in my shoes. There is ample support and flexibility so that it moves and flexes as you walk but without compromising its intended purpose. I wish I had purchased these sooner. They fit great in my Doc Martins.
They are true to size and required no trimming.
I got the size 11-11.5 and I normally wear a size 11.5 D. They fit great.

M.B.: My podiatrist recommended these. She said it might take a while to get used to them, but they were comfortable and offered relief immediately.

Shelley: I ordered because I needed a thinner insole than my regular orthotics for a new pair of boots without removable soles. These work for a moderate arch. I will try a higher arch next time.

They fit well in sneakers or shoes.
But if your arch flat will take a bit to be comfortable,

I’ve had arch pain for months due to wearing flats to work. Bad enough that it would sometimes wake me up at night. These fit very well in my shoes and have relieved all pain in just one day. My feet feel great and I would definitely order these again. Other insoles I have tried raise my feet up too high to be worn in flats. The 3/4 design solves that.
Two caveats: 1) if walking briskly, these will slide away from the heel of my shoe. It’s not a large or uncomfortable problem and is easily fixed by bumping them back into place. I may buy some adhesive to stick them to the bottom of my favorite shoes but that means I will need to buy many more to fit all the shoes. One of the nice parts is these can be moved between pairs so that all of this as you will.
2) in flats that do not have strong support on the sides of your food, these feel very strange. They slide side to side and do not fit right. Again, adhesive would fix that.
Overall I am very happy and my feet feel great. I just need to decide if I am going to buy more and invest in adhesive to fix the sliding problem
