Joan: I broke my other blender glass container and this is a great replacement. The capacity is good for smoothies and the blender is powerful and easy to use. Very happy that it also has a good processor, it is small, but works well for pesto. Great value and good quality.

Fizzi: I purchased this blender set so that I can have the right appliance around for when I want to make smoothies for parties and such. This was the first blender I found and I am so happy I put it in the cart.
The smoothies and milkshakes I’ve made are so delicious using this blender. The ingredients are ground very finely depending upon which setting you choose, and this blender can even blend ice quite easily as well! The different modes are very easy to choose from and this is not a difficult product to use at all. The blender itself is very sturdy, is not flimsy, and has a lot of space for bigger serving sizes. Please, purchase this blender if you’re in need of one, because this one is a two in one that also comes with a dicing cup. Perfect for when I wanted to make dumplings and quesadillas without having to use the blender cup.

Mr. Michael Sloan: Other than the fact that it is quite loud, it works well and comes apart for easy cleaning. Many other makes do not, so this is a plus. Hamilton Beach seems to make products that are a good value for the price.

Luella Fu: It's a versatile blender: I have crushed frozen veggies, fresh broccoli, fresh kale, pineapples, apples, oranges, and bananas in this thing with some juice/milk. The broccoli it tends to take longer to grind down and sometimes gets stuck. Initially, you'll still get the texture of the broccoli florets in your smoothie, but if you put the pitcher in the fridge for a while, the texture dissolves.

I've found usually the trick to make the blender go again with all that wave-action goodness is just to add more liquid so it has more to work with for churning.

Except for the broccoli, this has blended everything very quickly - 30 seconds to a minute. The broccoli takes 5-7 minutes (with checking and adding liquid and sometimes poking things around in the blender).

The blender has four settings, but it feels basically like two: heavy duty for ice/smoothies. More lightly for milkshakes and salsa. (the four settings are basically: pulse heavy duty (you have to hold the button down) , pulse lightly (hold button down), button for heavy duty (you press it and leave it), button for light (you press it and leave it).
