The M-GYG Folding Cane Seat Combo is the perfect combination of convenience and support. This portable cane stool is designed to support up to 400 lbs and features a folding crutch chair seat with three adjustable legs. Laureen Whitney: Bought this for my husband, he can't walk as far as he used to and can't stand in one place to long. This came has opened up our world so we can enjoy festivals and fair's again. He's 220 pounds and this came holds him with no problem.

Amazon Customer: This cane with seat is supposed to hold more than my weight but is not stable at all. It is hard to position myself to sit on it since instructions say to sit on it with legs in front of handle not opposite of the handle...or like a horse... The chair is very unstable: sitting on a yoga ball is a lot more stable than this chair, and it is even harder to stand up from the chair...I had to stand up with the chair between my legs and then lift my leg like I was hopping off of a motorcycle...a sight to see from beginning to end...hope no one took a video and sent it to America's funniest...

Dr. M. HelfandDr. M. Helfand: I really like this version of a cane chair. I have tried the version with one pole and your legs were the other 2 poles of the tripod. I hated it. Very uncomfortable and unstable. This one is good on both counts but you need to be careful and read the instructions. First, I weigh 190 lbs and am 5' 7" tall. I chose the medium height size. Most important is how you sit on it. You DO NOT sit like a chair. (with the handle in the back) You sit like on a horse with the cane handle in front of you! It comes with an extra set of rubber tips and a Velour seat cover(which is a nice touch). The seat is a perforated hard rubber which is fairly comfortable & vented. It also has a built in flashlight, which I haven't bothered with. (I don't walk in the dark.) The legs are easily adjustable for height. I found that the right height to use as a cane is at the shortest setting. However, it is much easier to use as a chair with the legs at the highest setting. Since the legs are easy to adjust, I walk with it at the lowest height, then change to the highest setting when sitting. It takes me about 1 minute to adjust the legs because it is very easy to push...

SW: This product works as advertised but it is a bit less stable as the foot of the cane is a rounded versus blat head or a tri-head foot (like on a hurrycane). But the seat works well and the cover for the seat is really cute.
But, it does require some balance and steadiness to be able to safely get on and off this "seat".
I got it for a trip where I will need to stand a lot and don't want to take a wheelchair or walker with a seat.
We'll see how it goes!
