I'm using it to get around before I have my knee replaced and then I hope to put it away after my recovery.

You don't want it slipping out to the side on you!
I picked up a pack of eight, 3/4 inch cane tips to go with this.
The "tread" on mine wore just about smooth after around 6 weeks.

CBER: Following my husbands hip replacement surgery, his physical therapist recommended this to side in his walking, recovery. The handle shape has been quite comfortable. The height is adjustable, it is lightweight, and has been such a tremendous support during his therapy and recovery.

Mary K: It was easy to adjust and the rubber bottom is thick and does not slip on my floors. This cane has helped me stabilize, especially on uneven ground or sloping walkways. I love the soft handle grip and the way I can hook the cane on a table and it stays in place. The strap has also been handy when I’ve needed to use both hands.

sammy: Easy to use. All it requires is a quick check of height and you slide the two pieces until the spring loaded decide pops into the appropriate hole. Instructions are provided to get the correct height. I have used it multiple times (after knee surgery) and it’s worked fine. If you are unstable or anxious, you may want to consider a cane with a wider or multi-prong foot piece but this should work well for most folks. As I get better with my walking, i often walk just holding the cane (not actually using it for walking) and it’s very light and easy to hold).
