Hannah: Running water encourages cats to drink from it due to natural instincts in the wild. This fountain does just that! With the flower spout the water is constantly flowing and some pools in the dish as well. At max capacity, I have to refill every 3-4 days, and the filter keeps the water clean. I think it's best to do a general clean everytime you refill, and a deep clean every 2 weeks, especially if you aren't using filtered water becuase there will be build up. Very quiet and not a bright light, it doesn't disturb my sleep. I 100% recommend this product!

SukeyZ: I like that this is very quiet; stainless steel is easy clean. The volume of water lasts for a good two weeks if need be, and because its running, filtered water it stays FRESH. Its so simple to assemble and clean, or disassemble to move. My new rescue cat took a few days to figure it was HER water, but now uses only it; and my small dog goes into the Cat Room to drink from it now too. The water flowing from the top, in the 4 or so places are a convenient height, and do not scare either animal. THANK you for quick ship and customer service. It was here 2 Days after I got my Kitty,

Margaret: I took the pieces out of the box and assembled the pieces. Directions was easy to understand. The fountain is very quiet when running. The fountain arrived a day early.
